- The Waterloo Diorama at the Royal Green Jackets Museum in Winchester is a truly impressive sight. Best seen with the Mk.1 Eyeball, hopefully, my short video will inspire you to visit the museum in person. There are actually six military museums in Winchester and you can buy a single ticket to gain entry to them all.

An incredible diorama in every way, the depth and breadth of its size and especially the awesome number and painting of the figures. Outstanding effort. If I am ever back in the UK again I will definitely be there to see this work of art.
It's definitely worth to visit and the museum is in is very interesting.
Loved it there
Klasse 👍
Awesome job Lee and the music is spot on, very dramatic for such a potent time. Must admit it did bring a tear to my eye thinking of all the loses there 😢
It's a great diorama with lots of little details. If you ever get to see in person it's will worth taking your time over it because there's so much to see.
Great job, Lee! That diorama is amazing. Thanks for sharing!
You're welcome glad you enjoyed it.
That's a lot of boxes of good old Airfix, with some cunning conversions. Very atmospheric music.
Thank you. I had wanted to use some Beethoven that was actually period specific, but it was flagged as copyrighted. Fortunately I think the music I found is an alternative works quite well.
Awesome watch thankyou for sharing
Thanks for watching
Amazing diorama Lee, remarkable that it has survived all these years.
The restoration a few years ago did a very good job.
Amazing! Thank you for posting!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very impressive have you seen the one Gettysburg Museum that's awesome too🤠🤠🤠👍👍👍
I've seen pictures, but never in person (one day!)
Nicely done.
Thank you! Cheers!
Super video, did it say whose miniatures they were?? If you were going to war game one part of Waterloo which would you choose??
1:72 Plastics. I think it would be Hugomont.
awesome
Do you know what manufacturer the models are from?
Sadly no. I was looking but I didn't find and detail on the minis. I may just have missed it, although it doesn't say anything on the website either (Other than the scale).
they are Airfix soft plastic
There is a similar diorama in the Armouries in Leeds, if anyone is up north.
Agincourt and a Waterloo one in fact. Another excellent museum.
