Tunze's equipment has always been a staple in my tank. Super simple wave makers, filters, skimmers, ATO. It all just WORKS. Looks great to boot. Happy 2025 Reef Builders!
Not to be corny but my favorite reef thing this year is the new version of Reef Builders with Salem and Reef Therapy Thx for keeping it going after Jake’s passing❤. #CaliKidCorals
I think the Quanta Atlas and Helix bars are already ahead of the curve for lighting in 2025. I think their quality and affordability have them in the front of the pack for the “non big reefing” lighting, same for Reefi.
Tunze 6075’s will be my next reef gear purchase this year. I helped a friend set up two on his reef and I was really impressed with everything these pumps offer. Cheers!
Two pieces of reefing gear that I cannot live without and that I’ve learned that not everyone uses. #1 A headlight! I decided to for with a Fenix brand light. If you don’t have a headlight while you’re doing work, inspecting/dipping, etc, then you are really missing out. I use mine everytime… probably 6 days a week for hours. #2 and a suggestions of Jake. The Nalgene wash down/wash bottle. Lately, I’ve been filling one of mine with a higher concentration of a reef dip and using it to last coral skele and rock. It’s amazing what all it will flush out. #idontwantit!
I don't have a favorite piece of gear that came out this year, but my favorite part of my reefing career this year was a pinnacle achievement when I was on the podcast during the Salty-Shin-Dig in Chattanooga! #calikidcorals
Looking forward to all the new things to come! I was not able to really try any new devices this year but it will be nice to see some next gen lighting this coming year. #CaliKidCorals
Actually, a lot of trace elements get utilized by the soft tissue/zoox and not actually absorbed by the skeleton. Also, it depends on the media used in a CaRx.
My favorite product that I Acquired this year is the ind a4f frozen auto feeder. It solved the last automation piece of my system. Second, I also started using the Captiv8 Reef blueprint trace element system this year, kudos to Chris Wood, this system is comprehensive and can be auto dosed with only one to two pumps. #CaliKidsCorals
Heartbreaking stuff going on there 😢 No new equipment for my tank this year, it's very low tech, but I did start using All for Reef for the first time, LoL! I LOVED that telethon so much that I was kinda depressed the next day to not have it to listen to🎉 #CaliKidCorals
@@salemclemens6148 Hmmm Salem, maybe girlfriends can't be 'Nicoles", likely a conflict of intrests. You have an exciting but HUGE plan for the studio and it might recuire a relentless ass kicker 'Nicole'! Hear that Raj?? I want to tell you guys how much I enjoy you three together, you guys have hit your stride, thanks for doing the hard job of filling the terrible void Jake and Mark left behind, sticking with it and making it this good! 2025 will be fun!
For me it’s the DMP-40 jebao pump!!!!! I have always wanted a mp-40 but can’t see myself paying 500 for one pump. I just ordered a second one amazing pump. #calikidcoral
Great analysis, thank you! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Rule of 3 Three things happen to coral within close time such as any type of chemical swing including nutrients. Temp swings. Light changes. Biome changes. Major flow changes. 3 and coral are so beat down and weak a multitude of things can or usually happen. From color loss to polyp bail. I’m sorry you guys have to go through this. But a smooth sea never made a skilled sailor. 🌱🌿🌴

This was the best episode yet!!! Loved the comedic banter!!! Happy New Year guys!!!
Thanks for sticking with us, Danny!

My Hydros Launch is amazing, i can’t believe I went without in the past. Besides the control, it also handles my rats nest under in the stand too!

Best release of the year is the Hydros Launch. Got mine all set up and it's awesome

Now I desperately want ReefBuilders squared (RB^2) root beer flavors such as Skimmate (extra frothy!) , Balling Part D, and The Concoction!
Ooh, the branding possibilities are endless!
I love how willing Salem is to spend Raj’s money😅
No, no you don't!
I liked the “what are we drinking” beer discussions at the start of the episodes… favorite product this year was the Quanta Atlas #CaliKidCorals
I do miss that part
Im excited for Christmas in July 😂

my favorite thing is my new quanta lights things are amazing #CaliKidCorals
I was drinking a Shasta Root Beer during the entire end of this video, so arony 😂😂😂 and if was good.
Yes!!!! Coldwater takeover!
Easy. DMP-20 #Calikidcorals
Favorite product has to be the new Tunze Osmolator 3. It's SO QUIET as an ATO device! #CaliKidCorals
Outro was a different podcast on it's own

The BIG question for 2025: who wants the job of being Salem's Nicole, he's going to need one badly!
My girlfriend has my back

Trident NP is probably one of the best released this year. #CaliKidCorals
Agree, however my NP reading got messed up today and I need to call them :(
Out of curiosity, did it start reading weird after you had exhausted your first batch of reagent? ~Remy
@ReefTherapy No, it's my 6th batch & just the Po4 is completely off. Took out a new set and same thing!
For me it’s the DMP-40 jebao pump!!!!! I have always wanted a mp-40 but can’t see myself paying 500 for one pump. I just ordered a second one amazing pump. #calikidcoral

Best product of the year Quanta Atlas #calikidcorals
#CaliKidCorals - Trident NP?
Crazy! I can’t think of one product that has come out this past year that was all that impressive. Maybe the Neptune System NP?
#CaliKidCorals
Do you own it? What are your thoughts? ~Remy
The thing I wanna try out is po4 tester from reef factory. I know it’s not new new but new to the us market this year. #calikidcorals
Gotta say sicce ultra zero utility pump. Not brand new but I love that pump.
