Funny Tenuis have always been the hardiest easy to please acro for me. I don’t do anything expect 2 part with part C and water changes and grew a 12” Orange passion just fine. Different strokes. Great advice about white bugs though! Many chop shops out their naming fancy Tenuis they cooked for a few months. Strangely they never touched Tenuis for me, only smoothies and Tyree ultimate stag.
Greetings, could you post or send me a photo of the interceptor to see what it is? And where can I see the video where you explain how to dose it? thank you !
So can’t have good polyp extension and will likely have stunted growth / death unless I’m getting a vet prescription for interceptor? No thanks; I’ll pass on tenuis.
@@luuuuuushhhseems like something he is regularly dosing. Why wouldn’t we have to regularly dose to achieve the same success? Seems like one of these microscopic white bugs could come in on anything we put in the tank and then multiply.
that’s why it’s important to not buy from untrusted vendors. or if you do to have a very intense QT process, even lps and soft corals have pests that can survive initial dips.
@@xhongxina286no it won’t sense they can run away into the coral, you would need to do prolonged dips 8-12 hours minimum even that won’t fully eradicate them. sometimes multiple treatments back to back is needed
Deff a nite and day difference after i did a treatment. It’s crazy. Thanks for the info 🙌

The stuff you have look great. Moonshine is the way to go
nothing like some good moonshiners, only thing i struggle with is PH, but working on that!
Just a heads up, when you dose interceptor you can get a dino’s outbreak due to all the pods dying. Have that UV ready
100% usually you’ll have small amount of dino pop up and some algae start to come up due to the loss of pods
All reef should carry out interceptor by now , thanks for the video
How do you know if you have em? Lack of color and extension can be a million different things.

Why don’t you use captiv8 line? You can mix everything together and use 1 dosing pump. I only use the MT and colors are crazy.
@@hoandinh8891 i like to have control over every individual element
You know what would be cool Alex. If you had a moonshiner background behind your moonshiners bottles
How often do you do intercepter?
Where do you buy your interceptor from?
@@BurntSquirrel my vet
@@luuuuuushhh You just tell them you need it for your tank?
Have you noticed if it affects your pod populations?

Where do you keep your parameters? NO3, PO4, etc. Thanks!
i like to keep nitrate at 10 and phos at .1
Do you dose interceptor with fish in the tank?
yes

@@LukeGreen_ not unless it’s 12-24 hour dip
