What elevation are you at? I have an is38 and Unitronic tune. Im wanting to get an EQT E30 tune but i live at 6000' elevation and i want to know how much boost it would make here and how much timing also. How much timing do you see?
Yo, what’s the name and brand of that window phone holder you use, that you can flip it and record it with your phone with out holding it?
Thanks
We 👏 NEED 👏 more e30 tunes! Mexican made vws can practically run e85 with no mods…it save me on these high gas prices!
not really… e85 burns quicker so you’re filling up more often. I too have a E85 fbo mk7 GLI but it is what it is… I think it’s still worth it for the hugeee power gains.
@@PeteFPV e30…not e85
@@mynameisnotcory e30 also burns quicker than pure 93…
i’d suggest going full E though. E30 power gains are minimal compared to full E… An entire different ball game
@@PeteFPV i dont have the money for a full fuel system upgrade, also tough when you have a mk7 1.8t over the 2.0t. Still very fast but limited on certain upgrades
“Reads extra low” Also known as reading accurately
Good power for Gti, my clubsport gti with stage 2, 4" open intake with 101mm intake, 80mm dp and exhaust made 371whp on SAE dyno on 91 octane fuel
Damn ll that’s movin
you got dyno pics? that doesn’t sound right.
@@PeteFPV got video. Clubsport has cjx motor from 7R witu is38
@@ben-wl4bd ahhh makes sense, good stuff! I’m full E on is20 still. havent dynod but i’d guess i’m around 350-360 wheel
@@PeteFPV that's strong! Planning to forge bottom end soon and go with full E
Is20 is good cause it spools up a lot faster, but when or if you do upgrade to is38 you're gonna enjoy that monster
Good numbers!
Yeah pretty decent! Pretty much the same as the ones I’ve seen
I want a TPC20 with e85. Can’t wait
That would be dope! I want that haha
What was fuel set up on rx500??
is this a 2015 mk7 gti? autobahn?
Good ass video bro, I currently have an 8th gen si and I’m getting a mk7.5 in a few weeks, this video has it all lol
Oh nice! Yeah perfect I got that 8th Gen in there too 😂
yo man I love the videos, actually from mpls myself! I was just wondering what your wheel specs are! Thanks.
I appreciate it! What car ya got? The wheels are 17x8 +45 Konig hyper grams

@@Jose_bello_Jr mk7 golf and a sn95 mustang!! looking to upgrade to a gti! thanks man
@@wyattkopietz9590 oh okay nice! Yeah mk7 Gti is the way to go. I think it’s the best for the price range and for what it is lol
@@Jose_bello_Jr me too
You can get nearly the same power out of a stage 1 tune on E85 from integrated engineering. If you have an IS38 I would switch tuners, you should be in the 400s easy.
Nah bro lol. Oem is38 maybe hits 420 on full e85
Crank vs wheel horsepower
What kind of dyno is it? How much boost you running?
Dyno dynamics (similar to mustang dyno) and 27psi
You have any logs of your setup? What kinda boost is it holding at 6000RPM?
I don’t hahah I should check
@@Jose_bello_Jr if you could I'm quite interested actually. I have the IS20 now and within the next year or so I'll throw on a 38. I'm intrigued to see how much additional boost it can hold in the high RPMs
For sure! Yeah it seems to die out after 6k lol. So I started shifting at 6k and it feels real good
Would you recommend the XForce exhaust? I have an 17' MK7 SE manual...
Yeah it’s great!
@@Jose_bello_Jrappreciate your response,. thanks
382, woot! RX500 for sale? Do it.
Need to save $$ lol
Does the rx500 GTI have a built engine?
Nope!
I can't remember, do you pull that mustang?
Yes lol. Not anymore but I did when this video was made
Does that Dyno Machine reads it in RWHP or to the Crank?
Reads it in whp
@@Jose_bello_Jr damn you and I have the exact same numbers lmao crazy

@@Jose_bello_Jr are you still on the base map?
@@MeltingRubberZ28 yep lmao. Smh
@@Jose_bello_Jr made great power for a base map actually. Should throw some slicks on your car and see how it does at the track. There's a guy here on YT with an E30 Sneekytuned GLI that ran 12.0@120, which is a pretty serious MPH. I'd be interested to see what yours ran. He took down an E85 A10 5.0 with that setup.
They had the mustang in the wrong gear for a dyno pull lmfao.
Lmao idk what gear it was in
because horsepower changes depending on the gear homie, right?
@@REALBanannaman on a dyno yes homie it does. there is something called the ratio and depending on the car different gears are the "1:1" ratio which will make the readings inaccurate if its not in the correct gear. nice try at sarcasm though.
@@chadrichards8930
Story short: you are incorrect.
The Dyno knows both the speed of the drum and the torque it's resisting to the car's wheels, so it doesn't matter. Power is torque multiplied by speed.
On a dynojet, gear selection is as much about run length duration and hp output as it is about anything else. With the ability to control ramp up rate or loading through the dyno computer, you pick your run duration by selecting the appropriate gear (usually 3rd or 4th depending on power output and gearing).
On some dynos, we can force even a 2nd gear run to take as long as a 4th gear run by adjusting ramp-up rate accordingly. The only difference between the two gear choices is how the rest of the associated losses stack up
You mention (1:1) ratio. It isn't what you think it means. You are talking about LOCKUP. Torque converters do not lock up until a certain speed or rpm. No torque converter exists in a manual. Some dual clutch transmissions do have them, but that is rare. it is either in neutral, slipping, or locked up.
Manual cars are not an issue at all. Dual clutch automatics also not an issue 80% of the time. With a torque converter, you need to force a lockup (1:1) or else you will lose massive power. As far as I know, it usually is 45+mph for slush boxes at least. It is a transmission limitation, not a gear ratio issue.
Dyno runs vary 1-2% on a good day in the same gear. It literally does not matter for manual and DCT. We tend to pick the middle-higher gears because we want to see a good power band, with a stable output through the rev range. We don't need the wheels spinning 168mph on the dyno in top gear to measure horsepower. We also don't need a burnout (1st-2nd gear) happening on the dyno resulting in an accident. Safety always comes first.
If you are still reading this, I have one last thing left to say:
