How to ice pick a L5P injector

You can skip to 3:20 to see where I unpin the connector.In this video I’m going to show you how to remove the pins from the injector pigtail and tighten the pin tension resulting in a tighter connection for your injectors. This is a common issue with the L5Ps especially on cylinder #4. Unlike previous Duramax engines the pins were accessible with a pick, now you have to remove the pins to “ice pick” the connector and fix the pin tension issue.

I was able to clear the codes from the ECM after completing this, I’ll keep updating with mileage if I have an issue going forward or not.
