About 2 months ago I walked away from a relationship with a woman and her two beautiful children that I loved so very dearly. She cheated on me and it took a long time for me to build up the courage to say goodbye to the kids. I miss them everyday. I’ll love them forever.
Since then, I’ve been hiking as much as I can. Hiking and experiencing the seasons change as the seasons changes in my heart has been a beautiful experience. Some days a great. Some days all I want is them back. I know I’ll never have that back. Nothing can replace them but instead of replacing them I am going to work towards being a better man so that someday when I find my wild woman I will be ready to make love and make my own tribe.
I can’t replace them but I can build something with someone else’s and watch it grow. It’s all thanks to them.
You’ll never read this but thank you Teighlor. I love you and the kids.

The playlist was actually supposed to be published on December 27 (just like all the previous editions), but we had to postpone it because some offices were already closed for the holidays when we uploaded the video (which was on December 15). This made it impossible to get a couple of copyright claims sorted out in time. If we had published earlier, the video would have been taken down, so we had to wait a bit! - I'm really stoked this one is finally out ✌

All of these songs are lovely and well played. But are they folk songs? Gentle lovely country acoustic rock maybe but that's a different musical style. Folk music fans wouldn't necessarily buy it. Fans of this wouldn't necessarily buy folk music.
It is indie [folk], which includes many parts of different sounds and styles of being sung. Maybe not everyone would like it, though it definitely classifies as indie folk
