📖 About Hollow Coves:
Hollow Coves is the project of Ryan Henderson and Matt Carins. After meeting in 2013 through mutual friends and a shared love of acoustic music, the boys began writing together with no real expectations for where it might lead. And now, six years later, Ryan and Matt’s memories from their travels across all corners of the globe have led to a range of new music influenced by their journeys. Blending an earthy folk sound, acoustic melodies & vocal harmonies; Matt and Ryan take turns delivering lyrics of reflection, frequently harmonizing as their voices blend together and complement each other.

Ultimamente tenho passado por um dos piores momentos da minha vida. Tudo está desmoronando, minha vida está um caos. Nada dá certo, tudo que eu tento fazer sai mal feito, tudo que eu tento concertar só se bagunça mais... Tudo vai mal. Minha cabeça vai mal, meu corpo vai mal. Minha saúde mental está uma bagunça só... Mas esse canal é um dos meus pilares. A música é um refúgio pra lugares que eu nunca imaginei existir dentro de mim. Eu me sinto longe quando escuto o violão, a cada batida eu me distancio mais, e quando vejo estou só, numa cabana de madeira, no meio da floresta, com um fone de ouvido, em frente a uma lareira aconchegante, sentado numa poltrona aconchoada de nuvens, bebendo meu chocolate quente e respirando ar puro. O tempo para, o único som além da música é o som da garoa, a névoa cobre a copa dos pinheiros, eu vejo folhas amarelas voarem pela janela... É um lugar de refúgio na minha mente. É um lugar feito só pra mim, longe de tudo que faz a vida ser insuportável. Longe das contas pra pagar, dos problemas no relacionamento, da sociedade, do País em chamas, das oportunidades jogadas fora, dos arrependimentos, das más companhias, dos julgamentos, dos maus olhados, das traições... Apenas eu, um velho cachorro e uma cabana de madeira pura no meio de uma floresta calma me deixam em paz novamente. E só tem um lugar no qual eu posso chegar lá: o Indie Folk Central...
