@@davidocampo8997 I would say that he is. He kind of like two hit wonder. People only know him for Hold Back The River and Let It Go. He got some other stuff that is extremely worth listening to as well.

6 years later I'm still watching this for the 10000th time. I've only been to one concert in my life and that's James Bay's. Doesn't matter how many songs I listen to, James Bay's songs are always the best and the ones I'll never get tired of. Watching his concert this summer in Trt was one of the best things I've ever experienced. The energy he brings in all his performance makes me want to get on stage and sing with him.
Seriously though...HOW DID HE NOT WIN A GRAMMY?!
Because the Grammys are a Popularity contest, nothing more.
They give out awards to whoever is most popular at that time so that they get better ratings. Every now and then they throw in a "fringe" artist to make it seem like they have taste. It's a Circle jerk for rich and already famous people.
You'll never see the most creative artists at the Grammys. You have to dig a little deeper to find the best Artists.
He's getting there
His backing singers let him down terribly, they were even out of time at the beginning, the screen graphics were subpar and James started killing it about half way through.The ending was superb, though I wish it had that energy throughout

Met James about 2 years ago at the Midland Theater in Kansas City MO when he was one of the openers for ZZ Ward, he gave away autographed promo CD's after the show and we had a nice chat.....look at him today!!! I knew he would make it BIG someday, amazing talent!
