I've recently noticed that all GIFs are not alike. The GIFs that I collected from the internet will play from the media room but don't play when put on the timeline? Have you noticed this and is there a remedy that I'm not aware of?
I just tried this with a GIF from the internet and that particular one worked. I could place it on the timeline and move through it one frame at a time. There may be some that will not work, but I don't know how to determine which GIFs will and which ones will not. --Jim
@@powerdirectorworkshop6999 I was looking for some GIFs to use as b-rolls and the only thing I can determine is that the ones that work are cartoon actual animations. The ones that are of, well like the ones you demoed, don’t. They seemed to play fine from the media room like I said but don’t even appear when in the timeline. Only the bounding box and control handles. Weird, thanks for your response.
YT only made me aware of this today 8/28/24
Wow. I wonder why the delay. I have no clue how that works, Chris. --Jim
