the first part of the video was funny because someone was pushing the button which made 31's act like they're doing march time. but i do know they only do continuous when they are not on a panel.
Do not pull fire alarms in public buildings unless you have permission which in this case you do or if there is a real fire but if it’s not for those reasons do not pull fire alarms in public buildings as you can get fined $500 and go to jail for 6 months
@@kansasfirealarms5101 as much as I respect the grandfather act and older systems, this place definitely could use an upgrade. At least a system that can latch into alarm with automatic detectors.
@Marc Leslie I mean I’ve seen systems with old 120 VAC horns on dc panels. Just an AC power supply and a relay is needed. However replacing the system probably is necessary
That’s a rare system
oh yeah!
Guessing they are 31 Series or Early 31t's
something like that
Whoa, Wheelock 31's? Those are very rare.
ehhhh not too too rare
I've always wanted a 31-115
They are pretty cool
This is true
@@kansasfirealarms5101 well, now I have 4
This is how proper fire alarms sound. AC horns are ear killing but have the proper alarm sound and are good
yes!

yeah we were messing with it haha. also there was no panel
Also, the rare notifier pulls are the rare BG-1's.
Seen more BNG-1s than these
Or those Wheelock 31s?
31s i believe
yes they are
@@kansasfirealarms5101I’ve been wanting to get one in my collection
Those horns are sweet and I love those notifier BG1s
me too!
How come AC horns are only used for scoreboards and other purposes and not for fire alarms anymore
DC devices are more efficient. You can get more devices on a single circuit
I'm assuming there is no panel. Making it a 120v Closed loop system.
yeah there was not a panel
Share this video with Old School Fire Alarms! I believe the horns are the Wheelock 31 series.
yesss
That is one of the most rarest pull stations ever
is it now?
Yea
Yeah no it’s not lmao
Firelite BG6 is rarer
@@KanoaDeCastro no the spurling pull jjnc24 has is rarer
I love the way those horns sound
yes they sound great!!
120VAC for ya. 👍
Nice
Thanks!!
Also what is the panel or is it no panel
there was not a panel here
I got rid of a bot in the comments section for u it's been happening a lot to people so just a heads up to keep an eye out for bots

you can pull them in inspections 🤣
Thanks bro, I had no idea at all!
They need to install strobes but keep the horns
they don’t. grandfathered into being code compliant
