@@maxzett Hate is a normal human emotion that everyone has, regardless of their claims. But I don't see how this relevant to the topic at hand.
This is very simple, heat is energy, and energy over time is power. The chip uses more power depending on if temperature allows it and if VRM can give it, so the better the cooling and VRM the more power the chip uses, thus the more energy is released as heat. Intel chips use a significant amount of power more in comparison to "the competition" while not producing a significant amount of computations, again, in comparison to "the competition". Thus, Intel runs hot. Of course there are exceptions that you may or may not be willing to jump right at to champion Intel with. Yes, I do not like Intel, partly because of the point explained earlier.

0:28 Honestly I like the name, especially compared to Razer's usual naming scheme. The no-nonsense "Razer Book" branding made me immediately assume this is their competitor to a Surface Book or Macbook, and it seems like that's pretty much what it is.

Exactly what I thought. This comes at a time when we're trying to help our normal friends choose a laptop like the Lenovo [or Yoga] Slim 7 [or Slim 7i] Pro X. And even if we want to say "Just get a MacBook," there are 4 different MacBooks. And the M2 MacBook Air is better than the M2 MacBook Pro, but worse than the M1 MacBook Pro. Now Razer wants to just go with the Razer Book 13? I say they are doing the Lord's work.

Razer products have an outdated aesthetic (this laptop, for example, looks like a macbook circa 2013). They're still making these black and gamery looking peripherals that harken back to about 5 years ago. Their aesthetic still appeals to a certain part of the gamer community so that's fine I guess. Their designs are executed well aesthetically, but the products themselves feel like of cheaply made compared to their competition (Logitech, Corsair, Apple, etc...). I think the only thing truly wrong is their price.Their products are fine at about 70% of what they charge MSRP, but you can't justify buying their stuff at the same price as higher quality products.

So I love the design of Razer’s laptops so I bought a Razer Blade 15 when the 2019 models went on sale back in March before the 2020 models were released. The laptop has been okay. My laptop came in looking like the charger port had been milled out with a hand drill and it blue screened and needed windows reinstalled the same day I got it. I’ve had constant issues since in regards to system stability. Currently the system crashes when attempting to wake from hibernation. Razer’s outsourced customer support is also super frustrating to work with and don’t seem to understand that during a pandemic with everything being computer based, I can’t simply send them my only computer for 4 weeks...
Just felt like I should state that, in case anyone else is in the same boat as I was; where they really want to like these computers so they kinda ignore the bad things...
