Good morning all the tjhoko people. So i did al this last night. Im going to stick and roll it today. You said leave it overnight. How many hours should i wait before i remove the paper. Worked just fine so far. Looks good. Thanks Nadine
Good morning, if you are going to stick your images face down today with undiluted Clear Glaze, rather wait until tomorrow before you start wetting with a sponge and removing your paper. I always find it best to be patient.
Please remember to ensure that when you apply your images, to roll really well with your brayer to ensure that the paper Sticks properly and there are no air bubbles trapped under the surface.

Hi there, you are welcome to apply additional Clear Glaze once you have completed your project. Especially if you require additional protection 🌸
HI Nadine can you use issue paper for this as well?
Hi Jane, when working with tissue paper, you can use our Clear Glaze as the adhesive to stick the tissue paper to the surface. Steps will be: paint your surface with a light Tjhoko colour as dark colours will allow for the design on your tissue paper to disappear. Wait 4 hours and then paint undiluted Clear Glaze on your surface, lay the tissue paper onto the wet Glaze and wipe away any greases. Paint some glaze over with a soft paint brush to grease out any unevenness. For any help email us at support@tjhokopaint.co.za. We will gladly help 🌷

Can I do a photo this way and will withstand the weather if it's outside?
Hi Amanda, hope you had a lovely Monday. First make a copy of your photo and we recommend using a lazer printer for best quality. Follow the same steps as mentioned in this video. To add extra protection for outside use ensure that you apply a proper coat Clear Glaze (applied as per instructions on lid). Hi Nadine. Can you use it directly on a unpainted tile?
Hi there, the surface of the tile needs to be thoroughly cleaned with Powafix Lacquer Thinners first. This is vitally important. We always prefer to Paint with a lighter Tjhoko colour first as we find this creates a better outcome. If you're willing to test on an unpainted tile, this is perfect. Please just remember to use Lacquer Thinners first 🌸
Must it be laser printed or can you use injet as well?
Lazer printing works better for more crisp colour, but I have used inkjet before and it does work.🌷

Hi Celeste. You can definitely apply Clear Glaze afterwards. To be honest, I have not used mine outdoors, but would love to give it a test. What were you thinking of using them for outdoors?🌷
