I played the entire game like 7-8 times on Easy, normal and Hard and yet i learned SO much about it by watching this Speedrun. For example the absolut ludicrous amount of speedblocks in convient places. This is also the kinda speedrun i love the most. Minimal Glitches and more insane Playerskill. I mean yeah glitches are also extremly skillbased but like to see more intended in game technics because it always awakens this "I should try this in my next run" feeling that i love immensly. Dragonfang u are a legend and u gave me quite a few cool ideas for my next playthrough.
Ahh i remember when i went with Varia suit early without knowing... it was a hellish 43 minutes and i tought i was being super smart for getting an item early...

whats funny is on the back of the box of the cartridge there is a picture of kraid i believe, but that is not how kraid looks in the actual game (probably only applies to my countries version of the game, or it might have been in some game magazine), so as a kid i spend hours exploring the game, picking up every item in weird orders and exploring every secret possible, just to find this one secret boss that i couldnt seem to find and i never was able to ofc, since that room doesnt exist in the final game.

Apparently you unlock it by pressing "Up, Left, Right, Down" on the Start Game option of a file, i never knew that!
