Appreciate you sharing your thoughts and talking about your journey. The temptation in Brazil is on another level bro. I think the best way manage your time properly is to break up your day in blocks i.e. 3 hours for working out, time dedicated to editing and UA-cam, time working on Patron, time to eat, time to explore the city, and save the the fun for the night time as a reward to yourself for being locked in on business first. That's how I would do it if I was in your position so hopefully my advice suits you well. Been following your channel for a few years now and will continue to support your content. Keep doing your thing and just don't get caught up in all the abundance of women out there. You got it bro. Stay solid

This is a classic problem of everyone who gets a comfortable life. Too much fun and easy life make us feel that we are not living up to our potential. a competitive mind always needs the next target. Ladies and fun looks like a target but its not in the end. Pride and how high we can go in life is the target. This is why kings in the past wanted to win one after another wars.
Now solution is, first we need to realise that there is a time for an activity. When we wake up then its time to work. Daytime is not for meeting ladies. its only a weekend activity. Morning and afternoon is for work on the weekdays, Evenings for Gym and eating healthy food + Reading on the weekdays. The weekend from Friday evening till Sunday afternoon is full on fun.
Overall purpose of life has to be really big like becoming a really successful businessman & entrepreneur. it will keep us busy for our whole life but gives us satisfaction. even if we fail, we would still be a winner.
Meeting with lower-life people kills our competitive mindset because we already feel successful in life in front of them.
I have been struggling with a similar problem. The above solution working for me.

BIG UP SKYLAR!!! keep doing the walk and talks!
I totally get the anxiety! and you was lookin bug eye in this video🤣 Something about the energy in these places outside da matrix gives the feeling; like you can do anything! When your not being beat up and tore down, you got great food-healthy, you got your exercise regimen down, fine women are checking for you and you trying to continue to make $ it can all be a little overwhelming especially with no "barriers" (although I know theres still obstacles, just diff ones)
When I was in trinidad, I was walking around princes town feeling like I was gonna run for mayor🤣Same way in colombia, thailand etc...im back in the states tryna figure out how to leave for good! When you pursue 1 thing- the other is getting away. But you cant lose over there. I haven't been to Rio yet...but I WILL. And I still haven't bought a PS5- I want one but I feel like it's a huge distraction for me at this point. I also feel I wont play as much when I get settled in overseas! I might cop 1 on my way out...but for now im stacking and researching....much congrats to you in your endeavors an continued success - I look forward to continue to watch your content!

What is your purpose in life, is there a problem you want to solve, family, etc..
The goals will follow but the purpose has to come first.
This is how you avoid distractions. Everyone wanders off the path or needs a break every now and then but treat it like the 80/20 rule for dieting.

This is also true for Brazilians. I was born in Sao Paul, but when I lived in Rio for a while, I noticed how the outdoors culture usually takes over professional duties. They tend to prioritize a good time over long-run accomplishments. People from Rio usually mock us Paulistas for not having beaches, and worrying too much about work, but they also have a lower productivity output. Finding the balance is the key.

I learned from my father who was a retired Staff Sargent. What he taught my brother and I was..... Discipline! Get a planner and start schedule your day. Allow yourself two to three hours brain storm a project to film. Allow yourself 2 plus hours to actually film the project. Schedule yourself editing time to complete the project. Brain storm for the next day and repeat the process. Decide how many projects you want to produce over the course of a week and create your schedule to meet your weekly goals. now work all of your other activities around your schedule and you'll be good to go.

I am a lot older than you. However, I àm an American black man who retired early here 12 years ago in the State of Rio de Janeiro. Many of the things you are experiencing are normal for a young American black man trying to settle down here. Things will get better in the future with self-control and a more focused direction. Have fun for now now, but keep your eyes open for the prize. The prize is that special girlfriend who will work with you to build your business and talk you through moments like this. I live near Cabo Frio. It is a lot more peaceful here, and I take a short trip whenever I am in the mood for excitement. But it is all good. People are great, and life is great. Stay positive brother.

Hey Skylar, good video. My past travel experiences to Colombia and Costa Rica increased my paranoia a bit. There was a fat Brazilian dude (with pink t-shirt) that seemed to lock his full attention on you when you passed him and he heard you speaking English. He walked behind you for about 40-60 feet and then I did not see him in the background. Try to switch up your walking patterns during the week when you do your videos. You need to build rituals, preferably during a time of the day you often aren't so busy. I try to do mine in the morning. Rituals are not 'habits', they're things you do to yourself to bring yourself to your peak performance for the day. Cleaning your face/hair, maybe reading a book, writing a script. Once these are done you wont feel like your day is wasted. Regarding content production, you need to simply have a window you record and edit and dont break it. Just like you wouldn't be late for a formation in the military.

Aahh, problems of the rich and famous lol. Sometimes too many options is worse than not enough. I am an Air Force guy (Fire Protection) and most of the countries I have been to outside the US have too many options. I was stationed in the Philippines, and had so many women I stopped working out, and barely went to work lol! The same for Germany, I had a smoking hot blue eyed blonde German woman who would come pick me up at the Fire House in front of the crew.
You almost have to CHOOSE to live somewhere kinda boring to reset your perspective and buckle down to work. When I was in CA I was inundated with women, while visiting my girlfriend. I would never live in these places now unless I was rich, and even then you can quickly loose yourself. Get back into the gym and work and set aside days to go out and focus and you will be fine. Maybe find a steady lady...God forbid in Brazil lol! Good luck and thanks for your service Sir!

Since I moved to Central Florida my basketball run came to a screeching halt. Now I play softball here in the winter November -April and while i am in Brazil the summer time I find a secluded spot and hit softballs of a tee into a net. Brazilians are not used to seeing older Americans or tourists fixated on something. While I am trying to whack the cover off the ball, even those annoying attractive women don't mean anything. Easy just find one 🔥🐔 then focus on your future. Don't worry you're still like a kid in a candy shop you will soon settle down. Unless one of your main objectives was just to keep hitting as many 🐔 as possible then that always comes with a price and trouble and alot of damaged girls by the brothers which will eventually turn them into the same girls we are always complain about in the US and in the UK. You've answered this yourself distractions are distractions and business is business just focus on what's more important just find one girl that is the best match for you and wants to build and support a future with you. I know its easier said than done but that's my advice bro I know you're a smart guy so you will figure it out soon. Best of luck but at the same time it's not the worst problem to have😅😊

I'm glad I got that out my system in Chicago. And learned about zodiac signs along the way and how true the shit really is through experience.
I'm gonna find me a nice Leo to settle down with down there, lol.

The first hour of the day is for YOU bro! Not for anything else. Unless it's an emergency. Meditate, breathe, read, journal. You only need 30min to an hour. You'll be straight.

Different take, I guess. After a month in Rio I had gotten bored and wanted to get back to my business. I would suggest a focus into real estate if you're wanting to be more hands off. Plus higher yield potential than this market imo especially w/ discretionary incomes dropping, competitive interests, and less people expected to travel. Less risk too. Biz is about reputation so any future plans to pivot outside of this may become hindered by this image of you being a purveyor of the w***e economy. That's the money piece. On the social impact piece, 99% of your viewers can't afford to stay in brazil anyway - they're literally low income brothas buying a dream. Maybe some will be able to afford that "3 day trip" after a year of saving (which should be invested anyway).

True. it is very distracting when you go there so I go into candy store got women all over and you wanna know where the rest of them are very true so I know what you’re talking about even though I’m not been there 11 times still it’s calming down a little bit. I’ve got a plan to go in February. If everything goes OK to meet up with a lady that lived in Rio but she’s in London just for work and then she’s gonna go back to Brazil. yeah I know what you mean but you gotta make a plan and I know you got it but True getting all those text messages in the morning when you get up like wow

Let's see, you can't stay focused because of all the beautiful women. Wow, I should have that problem. BTW, I am seeing what you said about the beautiful women there. Plus the desire for short term relationships is crazy!

The expats with high level connections and real money stay away from these guys lol.
