well.. even if it's a great talk, thanks god there are different realities around the world and in my opinion I prefer buy locally to support (even if could be strange, old and too insane) my economy and my land. why? we don't have the same capacity of create value by nothing. Same resources and same economy. Sardinia has been stuck for decades and now is coping with some huge problems that crash your theory, Greg. I think your title is too general, to the extent that makes it misleading and boasting...you did some great job for your community but that means "Conventional Economic Development" is dead wrong!!??....this is a bit far fetched.
