I'm getting a GR300 soon (playing through it with the G707) and will be trying out my Ernie Ball 40TH Anniversary Volume Pedal now. It has a 250k pot so interested to see how that goes. .? Although I will have to mod the power of the GR300 to work in Australia and also the mod from your site for the 24 to 25 pin conversion so this test may take me a little bit :p Anyways thanks for putting this up :)
I have audio sample of my website of sweeping the filter with a 100K pedal. My conclusion is that you rapidly hit the limit of the filter, so much of the changes happens in the initial travel, then it does not get much brighter. Let me know what you think!
I've been using my Gr 300 with my modular.. I'm gonna do some mods and have been wondering would it be possible to tap a cv and gate from the hex pick up. Also as a lefty I'm wondering if I can string my Ibanez 2010 lefty. Thanks for keeping this old box alive on the web all these years.
Imho, the fc7 has a wider sweep but I don't think it does a lot of difference after like 2/3 or 3/4 of the sweep - exactly like the full sweep of Ernie ball's VP
