Suggestion: taller trees, fog, more lore for the creaking, purpose for going in the biome, craft the heart into something, give the creaking diffrent shapes, add more plants, make the creaking drop a item. Thats all :) Edit: also make it that when the creaking hits you, it gives you a new effect called "paranoia" wich makes you feel dizzy and hallucinate and make darkness surround a few blocks infront of you, similar to the blindness, Hallucinations: seeing fake creakings that chase you but can't hurt you, hearing random screaming in the distance, and random pop-up jumpscares. Edit 2: also make it that the creaking has diffrent variables depending on the biomes, also make it have a low chance of appearing in other biomes but the pale garden having whatever chance your giving it,
I agree with you on all except that how it drop an item if you can't damage it? I think that the heart is the drop. And I believe that "a muppet that moves when you don't see and if you blik you are dead" it's enough creepy lore for it.
Some feedback regarding the pale garden biome: 1) Make the trees look less like dark oak trees in terms of shape. 2) add some closer fog!!! 3) a new structure- maybe an abandoned cabin? Maybe a Graveyard where the Creakling guards something there?
Exactly like what I want for them to do also in the first second of the video they say the footage is work in progress so hopefully they take community feedback
This probably wont be pushed forward but I'd suggest to add some functionality of forcing a fog effect kind like the Basalt biomes as well forcing the fov of the player. Additionally change the trees, if the art director for this drop said it was inspired by the willow trees then it should look like the willow trees, not dark oak trees.
i agree the tree shape should continue being experimented with; they likely deviated and made the trees thicker so the heart is slightly harder to access and/or properly feels “embedded” in the tree.
Imagine if the player can’t sleep in this biome. This will mean that the player is forced to stay awake and can actually meet the creaking instead of just sleeping through the night. Also, phantoms might not spawn in this biome. But it’s not like the player is gonna spend three nights in the biome.
I love the new Pale Gardens! I think they could be improved on though, like making the trees taller, and adding fog similar to the nether biomes!! Love the Creaking, and I'm excited for White Wood!!!🌳
I missed the end update but yes, that's right I love to build so many people who are mad at this "Minecraft players are never happy" "I lost the game" and "L" in comments.
I personally think they could keep the versions of the biome's trees we have now but add additional size variations, such as a medium (maybe 3-6+ blocks taller than the current trees) or large/tall size like you said, (10-15+ blocks taller than the trees now perhaps?) to make it easier to keep and enhance the clastrophobic/low visiblity concept.
The drops looks cool but I feel like somekind of fog could be great to enhance the vibe of the biome and the creeking should deal at least 2 heart or + of damage because right now his weakness doesn't make it that scary.
And even if they don’t dear that much damage, there’s always more than one so you’re basically getting swarmed and you can’t hurt them at all. It’s like they’re the unstoppable force while you’re not an unmovable object.
Would be a neat addition to see sometime but i also appreciate the biome as is. If they do add a cabin/structure I wouldn’t expect any ~special new item~ out of it…
Yeah, there needs to be a structure or something that only is there at night. There's nothing forcing the player to be there at night and that's a real problem.
The cabin idea would be cool! It could be overgrown and taken over by the Creaking, with many hearts for many Creakings in its many hallways, but could have great loot. Enchants, some diamonds maybe a new Lurker Armour Trim that gives your armour a rooted look with an eye on the chest and top of the helmet.
Love the idea Feels a little like they just copy pasted the dark oak trees and slapped some new textures on it 😭 I’d like for the trees to feel like a unique tree, like if they were taller Also there’s definitely stuff missing here, it feels very dry and frankly a little boring at the moment. I hope they add more to spice it up a little. If they even just added a small structure or a few more things to look for, would be really cool
the video 100% got the idea across, but i feel like more needs to be added and changed to give the biome a unique feel rather than another forest with a gimick mob
@@doot4246yeah but do remember that this isn’t meant to be a huge update as they switched to doing smaller more frequent updates and they also will likely add more stuff
Don't think this comment will get much attention but: Adding mushrooms the same colour as the eyes of the creaking, so that you could mistake it for the mob, especially when it's foggy would be really nice! Also the mushroom could even make the fog effect when you come close (Think puffball mushrooms). The shroom could also be an incentive for going in the biom for making a special stew or potion (Giving a cloudy/obstructive effect to other players in PvP or Monsters, reducing their view/detect-range).
I think they should add fog, during the day it’s greyish and very light, as in there isn’t much fog and it’s far away. At night the fog gets more black-ish and much denser making it harder to see.
@@Zimbabwae1 if you didnt know 1.21 was a big yearly update this is a game drop but now they are doing lots of small updates per year rather than one big one and there will be another Minecraft live in the first half of next year as they are doing 2 of those per year, so while this update won't really get that, its because there will be more updates
@@josephmartin9737It doesnt really look scary and its walk is pretty goofy 😭 I think they should make it less humanoid and its body should be transparent in the dark so the eyes are more scarier We also need a jumpscare for when it hits you for the first time and when it does it should give you an effect where you hear more eerie sounds and part of the screen distorted here and there
@@RishiAggarwal-z5m It is. Remember, this is 6 months of work, where as every other update took twice as long. That's the whole POINT of drops. To give small updates frequently. This is a full "drop". 6 months dev time means you have to lower your expectations. And remember, this mob is unkillable so it's impossible for it to have mob-drops. The only hope is if the heart has a unique crafting recipe attached to it (which even then might be attached to the next drop 6 months from now). That's literally all we can expect from a 6 month dev time.
@@Hadeks_Marow Also remember that snapshots for 1.21.2 is also a part of the 6 months. This includes bug fixes, minor tweaks and changes to the overall gameplay. It's not solely the one update. Oh I get it now, you don’t get something from the biome that the creaking is guarding You wanna utilize the creaking heart and use the creaking FOR something Very niche but actually very cool
@@rock9737and maybe like some new villager variant that aren’t quite like normal villagers, but non hostile nonetheless. And they can only appear at night
Minecraft! I have an idea to make the pale gardens better! A new type of mushroom. This mushroom will be white and glows in the dark. It releases molecules that fly into the air that distracts Creekings and itll just look cool, like in a medieval fantasy movie. Tysm for 48 likes! This is the most amount of likes I have ever gotten! Who knew such a simple idea could do this? What the heck?! 50 whole likes in just 23 hours?! I dont know how to thank you, its awesome i got this many likes from just an idea for a new minecraft mushroom. I can't believe how i got this so thank u. Its an honour.
OR make the mushroom the same colour as the eyes of the creaking, so that you could mistake it for the mob, especially when it's foggy. Also the mushroom could make the fog effect when you come close. (Think puffball mushrooms)
The update looks real neat thus far, if you want to go for eerie Id reccomend adding more atmosphere (e.g. fog or ambient particles). This parts just a personal thought, but I think adding new grey-scale white flowers to the biome would help sell the 'pale garden' name.
I would like to mention to EVERYONE, since many people don't know this, this is just the START of 2025's update, the creaking and everything with it will release at the earliest if no changes are made, around October, but more likely, if changes are made, it will release sometime around December or January. After this we will have a whole year of more content to look forward too, this is just a very SMALL part of this coming year's updates.
I have a couple of suggestions. 1) Maybe resort the texture of the tree to make it old and creepy to aling with the biome's theme. 2) maybe add some varients for the mob. Like darker color pallets, heigh differences, and maybe unique functions for each varient. 3) if the mob dies, maybe make it drop something. I know this is just a test and it could change in the future, like they said. But to be honest with y'all, this is pretty neat. It would be better if it was another realm like the Nether or the End but other than that I'm more excited for this Minecraft update than I am with the Minecraft film. Also I hope this is available for Minecraft Beta.
My only gripe is the new forest is basically just a retextured Dark Oak forest 😂 the pale garden Trees should have their own unique design instead of just being retextured dark oak trees
I am SO pumped about the direction Minecraft is going with smaller more frequent updates! I LOVE all of the quality of life updates yall have been adding recently and I've been playing so much more because of it.
I feel liike we should deviate from the dependency of oak types and focus more in bringing in new distinct trees. The Live mentioned that willow was one of the main inspiration for the trees, so why not name them like that and call it the pale willow? Also, add structures! I wanna do some digging up in a old ruin for some artefacts while under the watchful gaze of the creaker.
It would also be pretty interesting if this biome didn't spawn other hostile mobs on the surface, or possibly even making the creaking heart block nearby spawns. It would give some incentive to find lots of creaking hearts and base there, but would still require similar amounts of work to lighting up the area.
Or T the least extinguish them. Imagine, your walking along in the dark, and the torch you place behind you suddenly makes a whooshing noise, then there’s no more light. Also make the creaking a lot stronger; and when you mine the creaking heart, the creaking automatically attacks.
Idea: Make the creaking do more damage to armored players. Like, if you have a diamond set, it can do extra damage. How can this help? Pvp. Everything now is just shield. A structure on this biome that you can use the creaking heart to make a new enchantment, that multiplies the damage you to armored players, for the sword. This could make the biome infinite times better. Giving the creaking a further function, more than just a biome.
I love how they're adding more magical and fantasy elements to minecraft The pale garden especially gives me so many Hollow Knight vibes and would be amazing for Souls-like inspired builds, im excites to see what else they add to this
I’m loving the look of this so far. However, I think the creaking needs to adapt more with its environment to blend in, the trees should be WAY more warped and weird, add massive willow trees you can scale (I would like a block that changes its properties similar to the moving staircases in HP to create strategy and challenge when climbing the willow trees), and like everyone else has been saying we need fog in this biome and more obvious loss of direction (maybe moving structures or trees or biome?) I look forward to seeing the future of the Pale Garden :)
As someone who mods Minecraft to all the people who call Mojang lazy are... Kinda lazy but two points making a mod and making the actual update to the whole app is most likely harder and Microsoft probably holds them back alot
Also just look at the backend changes. Just because there isn't much content from a pure player standpoint doesn't mean there isn't a ton of work put in the game.
I think it would be cool if the creaking attacked other mobs as well so that it actually feels like it’s defending it territory and not just like it’s going after the player
Make the Creaking deal loads more damage, like 15-19 on Hard. And give the Heart a crafting recipe. I like the suspense and buildup here, it just feels like it's lacking payoff, and more importantly lacking a reason to visit the biome
There needs to be some sort of treasure in the pale garden. Rn there is no reason for going to the garden Edit: yes maybe the heart but i dont really see many uses of it. And you could go for the wood but after you get 1 sapling you dont have to return to the garden
There’s some reasons to come here so far an that’s more for building blocks and such. A very similar reason to the cherry blossom trees. But I do get what ya mean. Since this is a biome with a hostile mob. If I were to say right now I think those hearts will be valuable in some cases.
The “reason” is for the new block types, while the mob doesn’t do a perfect job of stopping you (inactive during the day), the goal is to have a mob protect its area and stop you from getting its tree wood
@@abj136 Exactly, I really don’t get why people say the Biome needs some sort of “Purpose” when it’s honestly one of the most unique overworld forests we have. The Creaking Heart is the reward, you now have an Unkillable mob at your disposal, what do people even want it to drop other than “Something” for the sake of it.
▪︎The Creaking Survival Gameplay 5:23 ▪︎New Blocks Build Display 11:07 •Devs PvP 16:32 I hope this helps : ) They have edited the original livestream vod into separate videos. You can find the Minecraft LIVE and pre-show uploaded separately.
I would love to integrate those particles going from the Creaking to its heart in a build. Put the heart behind one wall, lure the Creaking behind another, damage it with suffocation or a cactus, and boom - there's a particle beam going through your room. To make that work, we'd just need to be able to prevent the Creaking from despawning at daytime. Maybe just with a name tag?
Suggestions: Make the trees more crooked and tall, The Creaking have scarier animations and let him run and take 5 hearts of life, fog when entering the biome, plants that imitate The Creaking's eyes to make you feel uncomfortable, carnivorous mosses that live on the leaves of the trees disguising themselves as normal mosses, The Creaking closing its eyes and changing shape to disguise itself and new mushrooms for the biome, and the Creaking will release some new item and have some objective to go to the new biome! In my opinion, if Mojang adds these things, the biome will improve a lot :)
A few suggestions Aesthetics: Fog would be a nice feature to the biome to make it more difficult to see. Taller trees would also be nice. White pumpkins would also fit this biome. A new plant which resembles a creaking and produces berries similar in color and placement of the eyes could add some tension. Items: When consumed, the berries will make it easier to see through the fog for a short period of time. Perhaps they could also be used to make a potion with longer duration or that gives stronger sight. New Mob: An arthropod that lives in the canopy of pale gardens would hunt players as well. Its body would blend in, and if players look at them they will run and hide. They move silently on leaves, and are quite fast. Once they attack, its bite would inflict blindness, and they won't be scared off. Creaking and Creaking Heart: The creaking could have different size, shape, and stat varrients (the berry plant would have the shape and size varrients). Creakings can be temporarily defeated with axe and fire attacks. This will only last for 5 seconds, as the heart will reconstruct them. The creaking heart and the creaking (and perhaps the berry plant too) could be compatable with other trees and nether fungi. They could adapt to look like them, and nether fungi would give special abilitys such as teleportation (though not when being looked at) for warrped, and fire ressistance for crimsion.
Here are some Suggestions for the Pale Garden biome & the Creaking that I and others have suggested: 1) Slightly taller trees perhaps so they are a bit different from the Dark Forest (Creaking hearts still at a reasonable to reach location) 2) Some item (perhaps an armor piece) that'll make Creakings neutral to the player (crafted using things found in the Pale Garden) 3) The Pale Garden having a foggier atmosphere/vibe (maybe during early mornings and late afternoons) 4) Creakings being found in the biome during the day, unactive/petrified, only awakening at nightfall. 5) Creakings having various shapes/sizes/variants similar to how trees randomly generate. 6) Creakings being Hostile to all mobs, as they are defending their territory 7) Hitting a Creaking with an Axe will stun it - - - Here are more details on the suggestions and my reasoning for why I believe they should be added: Suggestion 1) Taller or different tree designs will make the biome look different to Dark Forests, however If it intentionally looks similar then it's fine. Suggestion 2) A craftable item to make Creakings neutral to the player should be somewhat difficult to obtain, but the reason I'd like its inclusion is because players may want to live or spend long periods of time in the biome without being constantly pestered by Creakings, It'll also be useful for making use of Creakings for home/village defenses like mentioned in the video. Suggestion 3) Many players have requested the biome be foggier to add to the eeriness of the biome, perhaps just like real life fog, it'll be denser during certain times of day/night. Suggestion 4) It would be a nice detail, to find unactive/petrified Creakings standing around the biome during daylight, only awakening upon nightfall. Suggestion 5) It would be a nice touch if Creakings would have different shapes, sizes, and variants, similar to how trees are randomly generated. Suggestion 6) Creakings being hostile to all mobs would make sense as it would be wired for them to only be hostile to players, they aren't seemingly undead in nature so them attacking a majority of hostile mobs would be nice as it's like they are defending their territory, it could also make Creakings useful for base defenses like mentioned in the video. Suggestion 7) Creakings are seemingly made out of wood, so I feel as if they should have some kind of weakness to axes. Perhaps hitting them with an axe would stun them for a short duration, allowing you to mine out their heart a little easier especially when dealing with a lot of Creakings. - - - I'll continue to update and edit this as I notice more ideas or come up with some on my own :)
The Creeking should have a random shape! This would add great diversity. Maybe it could even have randomized damage it deals, or be more aggressive (meaning it doesn't care as much for the Player looking). If every Creeping is different, based on some randomized attributes, would be really interesting!
Some recommendations regarding the pale garden biome: 1. Add fog to the biome. This makes the biome much more creepier. 2. Make a Creaking lore. Perhaps include why the Creaking is so mysterious, and what its purpose is. 3. Make a reason for players to go into the biome. Maybe add like a structure (a hut, tower or something underground), but make sure it fits the biome and its atmosphere. The structure should include loot, but the value of the loot should depend on how rare it is to find the biome. If it is pretty easy to find it (has a high percentage of spawnrate), add stuff like iron tools or some emeralds. If opposite, add stuff like diamonds or enchanted stuff, like books and apples. 4. No friendly mobs spawning in the biome (cow, chicken, pig, sheep, frog, wolf, etc.). This takes the fear of isolation to the next level. Trust me. Seeing a friendly animal can make the fear slightly dissipate. 5. Make the trees taller. This would make the player feel smaller and more isolated since "everything" around you is bigger.
I really like the idea of having guards for my fortress, AND the wood looks very nice! If I had to critique, I feel the trees could be improved a bit more, like making them taller or something. Still, fabulous start!
I would really like if Mojang made the biome have a structure maybe and make it bigger, also I think The Creaking should be more dangerous and only one could appear in the biome. Maybe like only one heart will be activated until you destroy it, then the other heart will activate. That would be really nice and also challenging! 🤗
I love the concept of the pale forest and the creaking but it feels like it could use a little more oomph such as denser fog or particles in the air much like the basalt deltas also I love the pale wood and cheery leaf gazebo, it's absolutely adorable and gorgeous and I can't wait to see what people do with all the new blocks
The Ominous bottle should increase the difficulty of the Pale Garden, giving you an unstoppable blindness for 20 minutes and increasing Creaking speed by 25% and damage by 50%, however, Creaker Hearts are empowered by a green glow which gives you 250xp each when broken, as opposed to the usual 10! Which is lots!
I really love a lot this new update but please listen to the community with the fog, taller trees and randomising creaking looks 🙏🙏 and please we NEED new items and crafts which will justify to go in here
I think it would be so awesome if the Creaking Heart could be added to each other tree type, creating a corrupted version of the tree and spawning Creaking variations based on the corrupted tree! Also loving the other suggestions for fog, increased Pale Oak height, and some central structure
I think it would be really cool if Creakings could still be found in the biome during the day, except their eyes are closed and they are petrified/unactive, only awaking once night falls. I also think it would also be really interesting if they were hostile to all mobs that enter their forest, kind of like they are the guardians of the biome. This last idea is a bit unrealistic for me to ask, however I think it would be great if there was some kind of head piece you could craft utilising some of the materials found in the biome to make Creakings neutral to you, that way players could live/build in the biome without being bothered every night.
Please add a new unique flower in that biome... which will use to make a new potion... and make that flower rare which is protected by the creeking... and please make the flower glow in night
You mean like the Mangrove? If would work if the roots generate more random but otherwise no it wouldn’t. All it’d do is make travel more difficult or the biome more empty with less tree gen rates. What would make it more scary is if the creaking did 4 hearts against players with full iron and makes a scream during the first attack.
I think a clever idea to improve the creaker would be to animate his eyes, let me explain; when you see the creaker for the first half a second you see his eyes and then he closes them to camouflage himself. That way you don't exactly know where he is but every time you turn around for a split second you see 3 glowing eyes. What do you guys think?
I do appreciate the desaturated look, but it comes through as very flat. I think having the biome cast really deep shadows (or shadows with dramatic falloff) might go a long way. Can't wait though. Looks awesome.
I like how the pale moss blends in with the new tuff bricks in the village, really nice touch! Also the minigame was well thought out. However, as others said, the trees should be skinnier, and if the heart can't fit, maybe hide it underground? Tall flowers that look like the Creaking would be great too. The Creaking could all collectively guard something in the garden, which would be the main reason to go there. One user also suggested crows with glowing eyes or glowing fireflies, which might be nice. And although not directly related to Creaking, we have plenty of surface mechanics in Minecraft, deep stuff is always great. What about adding another flower for the Sniffer?
i think along with the taller trees, fog, and different shapes for the creaking that other people are suggesting, i like the idea of tree roots / wood plants that resemble the creaking could add to it, so you can’t quite tell whether it’s a creaking or just a plant
Well, no. Mojang has stated multiple times now that the whole point moving forward is that there isn’t going to be these big yearly updates. Everything is getting spread out into smaller more frequent updates. There is no big update coming after this. Just more small drops.
I have to say I really like the new biome, especially the new mob (the Creaking), but what’s more important would be a house/structure, nothing big just some old abandoned/derelict place with something important in it, something related to the the Biom and the new mob (some creepy Lore) in the middle of the Pale Garden guarded by all the Creaking‘s, there just needs to be some reason why you want to go in in there. (In addition fog, fog would be cool).
I think the pale gardens are amazing, but one thing I would like to see added along with other people’s recommendations is to bring back fireflies into the pale gardens biome. The idea is to camouflage the Creakings eyes more along with adding more to the ambiance. Just an idea though!
Honestly there's 3 things I'd add to this, Fog, Make The Trees Different, give the creaking a drop/purpose of going to the biome. Maybe you could get an item that could freeze hostile mobs in place for a short period of time (2 seconds or something) after killing a creaking maybe, just an idea! I really like this concept and want to see it expanded on and become something unique, my main complaint is just that it feels like there's no reason to actually deal with the creaking/explore the biome.
Alright hear me out. Make all wood "Pale Wood" instead of "Pale Oak", allowing it to "convert" any forest type. This would simply be decorative, so all creaking forests are simply their type but with different shaped terrain and trees. The creaking heart can be used to convert nearby trees it is connected too, giving a huge use to the heart, and making it so savy players can use optimal tree types to get the most wood for their farms. The creaking should become faster and more dangerous the more hearts that are nearby. Fog is a neat mechanic but another use for the heart could be fog related, so it wouldnt be biome dependent. Me personally, I imagine a soft rain and a light fog. Thats very eerie. And the particles revealing the location of the hearts is great, but should be substantially lightened. I understand it needs to be managable, but giving some tension trying to actually find it would add a lot to the experience.
I really like the atmosphere of this biome. Really hope the music cuts out when you're in it that would be really cool. I would like a bit more recources to find there though. It feels a bit unimportant right now
I would absolutely love if the player could dye the moss in a cauldron or something. It is already going to be amazing for cave/stone based builds but if you could color the moss I think it would be used EVERYWHERE
Suggestions; A. Considering the Terrain Generation, and the Sapling.. The Trees should be Tall and Twisted instead because the IRL Inspiration of the Pale Trees look more like Mangrove - without the Tree Changes, it's just another even Uglier Swamp or Dark Oak Forrest 'cause of the Desaturation. B. OR Generate the Biome in Giant Caverns, it also makes sense having short trees and Pale if it's underground 'cause no Sunlight = no Photosynthesis = no Greenery. C. OR Add this biome with Taller Trees and Add Fireflies with the same Colour as the Creaking's Eyes to The END Dimension instead 'cause again, it makes sense being Pale in the End due to lack of Sunlight and it doesn't suit the Overworld. (At least not on the Surface) 1. The Creaking's Eyes should Glow only when you're not looking at him. 2. Make the Creaking alot Faster and alot more challenging by increasing it's Damage. 3. The Creaking's should not Despawn if they are name-tagged, yet still stay nearby the Heart's Position even if it is Destroyed and only able to die due to Lava/Fire ('cause, Wood) 4. The Pale Door Design would've suited the Spruce or Dark Oak Colour, and the Pale Door should've looked more modern like the Dark Oak. The Trap door is Horrible though.
I think the point of defeating the creaking is for the creaking.. the creaking heart is like a drop, considering youre killing it anf getting it (w/ silk touch)
Dude it is literally confirmed to be in the back burner ideas list. What’s known is they will be updating the overworld until they are COMPLETELY happy with everything that’s in it to the point of never revisiting it. Only then will we receive an end update so maybe four or five years if that.
New drop idea. Creeping Creepers : Creepers now have a proper camouflage texture for the various vegetals found in biomes they can spawn in. It looks like the grass or foliage of the biome it spawns in and even like a cactus in the desert. Adding an interesting twist to the old creeper. Something that was reworked multiple times over in Minecraft Dungeons and Legends. The old creeper could be rarer and named "no_camo" Another idea. Zombie Apocalypstyle : From all 8 default skins aside from Steve, making a bunch of Zombie variants and so on and it expands to the husk and the drowned. Because they're linked. Solving the problem of EVERY SINGLE ZOMBIES being an absolute eyesore because they're all Steve. Another idea. Down to Earth : Bring in everything from Minecraft Earth. We can't lose those cool features forever, right ? Thank you !
Everything's great and I'm excited for this update! Heres some suggestions: -pale garden villages, make them spooky -taller trees -fog for ambiance Add a purpose for the plaw gardens, like maybe a new structure -add a sountrack for the pale gardens, like halloween spooky vibes
Suggestion: Since the wood is pale, make it so you can dye it and it’s, blocks? (Doors fences etc) It would be cool to have a large amount of colour you can use with wood because of all the different wood blocks
Suggestion: taller trees, fog, more lore for the creaking, purpose for going in the biome, craft the heart into something, give the creaking diffrent shapes, add more plants, make the creaking drop a item. Thats all :)
Edit: also make it that when the creaking hits you, it gives you a new effect called "paranoia" wich makes you feel dizzy and hallucinate and make darkness surround a few blocks infront of you, similar to the blindness,
Hallucinations: seeing fake creakings that chase you but can't hurt you, hearing random screaming in the distance, and random pop-up jumpscares.
Edit 2: also make it that the creaking has diffrent variables depending on the biomes, also make it have a low chance of appearing in other biomes but the pale garden having whatever chance your giving it,
You’re supposed to come up with the lore your self since minecraft has no definitive lore
You almost forgot, make other Mobs have a variant in this biome

I agree with you on all except that how it drop an item if you can't damage it? I think that the heart is the drop. And I believe that "a muppet that moves when you don't see and if you blik you are dead" it's enough creepy lore for it.
Some feedback regarding the pale garden biome:
1) Make the trees look less like dark oak trees in terms of shape.
2) add some closer fog!!!
3) a new structure- maybe an abandoned cabin? Maybe a Graveyard where the Creakling guards something there?

I like the Abandoned Cabin idea!
It would be cool if the creaking designs change so it’s always random like trees
Dang it and I thought I first came up with that idea :/
trees are never randomly structured. you're asking for more than 1 creaking model, which they should add
@@dinostorion he was just saying, hes not forcing mojang, he was saying that it would be cool

This probably wont be pushed forward but I'd suggest to add some functionality of forcing a fog effect kind like the Basalt biomes as well forcing the fov of the player. Additionally change the trees, if the art director for this drop said it was inspired by the willow trees then it should look like the willow trees, not dark oak trees.
what do you mean womt be pushed forward?

I think the tree shape is just a placeholder atm
Imagine if the player can’t sleep in this biome. This will mean that the player is forced to stay awake and can actually meet the creaking instead of just sleeping through the night. Also, phantoms might not spawn in this biome. But it’s not like the player is gonna spend three nights in the biome.

We cant know gameplay balance as it hasnt been released. They couldve been playing on easy difficulty for all we know…
@@jaydesoniawell I mean yeah I don't think these guys are really that great at the game so it's probably on easy mode lol

@thefireman17492 fog isn't a sky box, it's something that's covers the environment and makes it hard to see.....
And even if they don’t dear that much damage, there’s always more than one so you’re basically getting swarmed and you can’t hurt them at all. It’s like they’re the unstoppable force while you’re not an unmovable object.
It feels like a counterpart to the Deep Dark, hopefully we get a structure here.
Fingers crossed for a creepy cabin in the woods?
Would be a neat addition to see sometime but i also appreciate the biome as is. If they do add a cabin/structure I wouldn’t expect any ~special new item~ out of it…
@@jaydesonia Not really expecting a structure specific item, at most some new decor blocks

Feels a little like they just copy pasted the dark oak trees and slapped some new textures on it 😭 I’d like for the trees to feel like a unique tree, like if they were taller
Also there’s definitely stuff missing here, it feels very dry and frankly a little boring at the moment. I hope they add more to spice it up a little. If they even just added a small structure or a few more things to look for, would be really cool
the video 100% got the idea across, but i feel like more needs to be added and changed to give the biome a unique feel rather than another forest with a gimick mob

Don't think this comment will get much attention but:
Adding mushrooms the same colour as the eyes of the creaking, so that you could mistake it for the mob, especially when it's foggy would be really nice!
Also the mushroom could even make the fog effect when you come close (Think puffball mushrooms).
The shroom could also be an incentive for going in the biom for making a special stew or potion (Giving a cloudy/obstructive effect to other players in PvP or Monsters, reducing their view/detect-range).
Great Idea!

YES the flower idea is great
Or white (maybe bioluminescent) mushrooms
I would like to mention to EVERYONE, since many people don't know this, this is just the START of 2025's update, the creaking and everything with it will release at the earliest if no changes are made, around October, but more likely, if changes are made, it will release sometime around December or January. After this we will have a whole year of more content to look forward too, this is just a very SMALL part of this coming year's updates.
Im pretty sure they said the creaking and biome are part of a "drop" which are basically small updates like the bee update and the dog armor update
@@itsnathan9131 Exactly! 😄👍
No, it's set for December. It's the "Holiday drop"

The creaking should be able to break torches
This would be pretty awesome
It would also be pretty interesting if this biome didn't spawn other hostile mobs on the surface, or possibly even making the creaking heart block nearby spawns. It would give some incentive to find lots of creaking hearts and base there, but would still require similar amounts of work to lighting up the area.
Or T the least extinguish them. Imagine, your walking along in the dark, and the torch you place behind you suddenly makes a whooshing noise, then there’s no more light. Also make the creaking a lot stronger; and when you mine the creaking heart, the creaking automatically attacks.
fantastic suggestion, any light source should get extinguished for that matter which would be a really useful feature
Isnt that the point of the breach enchantment?

I love how they're adding more magical and fantasy elements to minecraft
The pale garden especially gives me so many Hollow Knight vibes and would be amazing for Souls-like inspired builds, im excites to see what else they add to this
I’m loving the look of this so far.
Suggestion: White Pumpkins that spawn in the pale garden
along with gray flowers and shrooms
Make the Creaking deal loads more damage, like 15-19 on Hard. And give the Heart a crafting recipe. I like the suspense and buildup here, it just feels like it's lacking payoff, and more importantly lacking a reason to visit the biome
Calibrated creaker heart
When looked at gives a signal
@@Dangerous_DM That would be so cool actually.
Please add Fireflies in the pale Garden and change the color of the fireflies to be like the eyes of the creaking😂😂😂
There needs to be some sort of treasure in the pale garden. Rn there is no reason for going to the garden
Edit: yes maybe the heart but i dont really see many uses of it.
The heart. Not that it's worth much rn, but that can change.
The “reason” is for the new block types, while the mob doesn’t do a perfect job of stopping you (inactive during the day), the goal is to have a mob protect its area and stop you from getting its tree wood
Builders: to get cool wood and moss. Explorers: to experience the Creaking. Redstoners: To make things with the creaking mob.

There should be a reason for players to want to enter this forest, other than just the new blocks.
You should add some white (and possibly bioluminescent) mushrooms! It would help it feel like the forest comes alive at night!
Make the dirt gray
You can add the firefly to the new Biome that would be very cool!
A few suggestions
Aesthetics: Fog would be a nice feature to the biome to make it more difficult to see.
Here are some Suggestions for the Pale Garden biome & the Creaking that I and others have suggested:
1) Slightly taller trees perhaps so they are a bit different from the Dark Forest (Creaking hearts still at a reasonable to reach location)
2) Some item (perhaps an armor piece) that'll make Creakings neutral to the player (crafted using things found in the Pale Garden)
3) The Pale Garden having a foggier atmosphere/vibe (maybe during early mornings and late afternoons)
4) Creakings being found in the biome during the day, unactive/petrified, only awakening at nightfall.
5) Creakings having various shapes/sizes/variants similar to how trees randomly generate.
6) Creakings being Hostile to all mobs, as they are defending their territory
7) Hitting a Creaking with an Axe will stun it
- - -
Here are more details on the suggestions and my reasoning for why I believe they should be added:
Suggestion 1)
Taller or different tree designs will make the biome look different to Dark Forests, however If it intentionally looks similar then it's fine.
Suggestion 2)
A craftable item to make Creakings neutral to the player should be somewhat difficult to obtain, but the reason I'd like its inclusion is because players may want to live or spend long periods of time in the biome without being constantly pestered by Creakings, It'll also be useful for making use of Creakings for home/village defenses like mentioned in the video.
Suggestion 3)
Many players have requested the biome be foggier to add to the eeriness of the biome, perhaps just like real life fog, it'll be denser during certain times of day/night.
Suggestion 4)
It would be a nice detail, to find unactive/petrified Creakings standing around the biome during daylight, only awakening upon nightfall.
Suggestion 5)
It would be a nice touch if Creakings would have different shapes, sizes, and variants, similar to how trees are randomly generated.
Suggestion 6)
Creakings being hostile to all mobs would make sense as it would be wired for them to only be hostile to players, they aren't seemingly undead in nature so them attacking a majority of hostile mobs would be nice as it's like they are defending their territory, it could also make Creakings useful for base defenses like mentioned in the video.
Suggestion 7)
Creakings are seemingly made out of wood, so I feel as if they should have some kind of weakness to axes. Perhaps hitting them with an axe would stun them for a short duration, allowing you to mine out their heart a little easier especially when dealing with a lot of Creakings.
- - -
I'll continue to update and edit this as I notice more ideas or come up with some on my own :)
Here for bedrock players,we want second hand!!!!
We also want world specific achievements!
the sweeping edge damage knocked back the creaking, a minor bug but it would be nice to be fixed!
That actually looks like a fun minigame
The Creeking should have a random shape! This would add great diversity. Maybe it could even have randomized damage it deals, or be more aggressive (meaning it doesn't care as much for the Player looking). If every Creeping is different, based on some randomized attributes, would be really interesting!
Some recommendations regarding the pale garden biome:

Maybe like only one heart will be activated until you destroy it, then the other heart will activate. That would be really nice and also challenging! 🤗
I love the concept of the pale forest and the creaking but it feels like it could use a little more oomph such as denser fog or particles in the air much like the basalt deltas
also I love the pale wood and cheery leaf gazebo, it's absolutely adorable and gorgeous and I can't wait to see what people do with all the new blocks
And what is the price for all of that?
I really love a lot this new update but please listen to the community with the fog, taller trees and randomising creaking looks 🙏🙏 and please we NEED new items and crafts which will justify to go in here
My only question is will the creaking still spawn at night with peaceful setting on?
They should, and they should just stare… menacingly!

I think it would be cool if the trees had exposed roots, they would be more scarier
Love this idea but there should be a lot more updates for this biome in the the future
Looks awesome.
make the tree look more like the sapling even if that means making it much bigger. if you have trouble ask some builder to help you out.
I want a owl to be in this biome that can be hostile but tameable also
Maybe making it eyes "Glow" in the dark would be cool
1:28 why do I feel like I am in murk wood from lord of the rings
Because it basically it the Murk Woods
CREAKING ANGELS

White wood looks very nice!
Just for the ones that didn’t understand, this is NOT 1.22, its just a new small game drop.

@@joebob5336drops will vary in size, massive drops CAN happen

PLEASE ADD MORE FOLLIAGE/FLOWERS (that have unique textures and sprites that arent just reskins) to the biome
Bobicraft on his epic moment: THE NEXT DROP IS THE END UPDA-
We need green wood next
Poisonous Potato update lol
But seriously yeah we do.
I also love someone elses idea for a new mushroom that is a neon white to bring a light to pop and bring attention distracting from the creaking
So if I activate the heart, it's not friendly to me?
We don’t know, but probably not
2:38 im sorry. BUT WHAT?
IM SO EXCITED FOR DEPRESSED VILLAGERS!
What is the point of this mob.
Chill it's just a Winter drop They'll add better things in the Full Update
Suggestions;
(At least not on the Surface)
1. The Creaking's Eyes should Glow only when you're not looking at him.
2. Make the Creaking alot Faster and alot more challenging by increasing it's Damage.
3. The Creaking's should not Despawn if they are name-tagged, yet still stay nearby the Heart's Position even if it is Destroyed and only able to die due to Lava/Fire ('cause, Wood)
0:38 joke drop
AHHHHHHHHHHH

When end update😡👺
The old creeper could be rarer and named "no_camo"
Another idea.
Heres some suggestions:
-pale garden villages, make them spooky
-taller trees
-fog for ambiance
Add a purpose for the plaw gardens, like maybe a new structure
-add a sountrack for the pale gardens, like halloween spooky vibes
0:16 Why is Lydia’s hair white?
Because of the pale garden update
her last name is literally winters
She slipped her head into a bucket of white paint
eh
But do other mobs spawn there
They do if you actually watched the video he was also getting attacked by creepers and zombies now you have another problem an unkillable tree
@@NekuroMC ye I just didn’t know if they wandered in from nearby biomes
@@James-hq5dr there's a range it wont leave the vicinity of its heart i just didn't remember if they said how big it was
@@NekuroMC Jens said they can only go 32 blocks away from their heart.
Lydia & Jens.... glad some things never change. Had such a thing for her back in the Minecon days...
bro what 😭😭
Suggestion:
Since the wood is pale, make it so you can dye it and it’s, blocks? (Doors fences etc) It would be cool to have a large amount of colour you can use with wood because of all the different wood blocks
