Aging in Dragon Ball is all over the place due to factors like the Time Chamber, which physically ages you at a faster rate, and the afterlife, which doesn’t age you physically, but you still age mentally. His heart also stopped for a few minutes when he fought king piccolo at 15. If you’re counting him dying when fighting hit then you should probably count that one too
Both of his counterpart of alternate future and our unaltered timeline were dead by disease and killed after swapped bodies by Goku Black (formerly Zamasu)
Uhhhhh technically DBS has no filler we have the major storylines that occur in both the anime and manga yes but those "filler" arcs are more or less somewhat written by Toriyama as it's been stated numerous times that he at least writes the manuscripts for each and every episode and those stories even get referenced in the major arcs so they're definitely canon the manga just skipped over them which isn't anything new as ROF and Broly were also literally skipped in the manga at least we got flashbacks to those events in the manga later on
That’s fair, both the anime and manga are different continuities thus there’s not really any “filler.” But the episode where Hit kills Goku, Toriyama didn’t have any direct influence on. He didn’t storyboard it, wasn’t in charge of the script, nothing like that. We know Toriyama oversees and writes outlines for the MAJOR stories, so that Toyotaro and Toei know what to follow with the main stories, but as for little tiny episodes like this, he likely didn’t have much to do with it.
@@InnovativeJdawg doesn't really seem like it the series as a whole was approved by Toriyama as he pretty much intended for it to be the true continuation of his story so even though he passed away recently whatever they're gonna write for DBS next it's still gonna be canon as it's a series directly approved by him so they at least must spoken with Toriyama a little just to get his approval before they made any of the episodes including the one where Hit kills Goku or else that episode wouldn't have even aired Toriyama is likely pretty much aware of its existence and considers part of the story regardless

The rest of the Saiyan and all of Frieza saga takes place in the same year, but they have to wait a year after defeating Frieza to make a wish with the Dragon Balls. Goku is physically 25 at that time, mentally 26 because of that year he was dead after Raditz. Goku isn’t dead after Namek exploded, so they can’t wish him back, and he trains with the Yardrats for another year before coming back to earth. He’s physically 26 at that point and 27 mentally when Mecha Frieza arrives on Earth. Trunks arrives and says the androids will arrive in 3 years, so there’s a time jump. Goku is then physically 29 and 30 mentally. When he goes in the Chamber, he is in there for another year and is then physically 30, mentally 31. That’s when he sacrificed himself against Cell.

There’s a 5 year timeskip between Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, so Goku goes from 19 to 24. Raditz arrived in Age 761 If you subtract 761 from 737, the year Goku was born, you get 24. I’m curious where you’re getting the 22 to 23 from?

Before the year 2009 or 2010 every hardcore fan knew Goku was 28 when he died a second time. Your math is off. I go based on the manga, where Goku straight up tells the audience how old he is. Then you can calculate accurately how old he was when he passed a second time.

Or, you’re misremembering how many time skips occur between the Frieza and Android Arcs, because there’s several. If you go off the manga, which I do too, you should go back and re-read it.
