I found that if you downloaded the version through the Epic games store it doesn’t work with the controller but if you download it through steam it works fine

@@FrovvyAdriangno friend, I've tried everything, I spoke to EA support and nothing, I believe it's a problem with the account, because there are several people with the same controller as me managing to play very well, while me, you and a million others are going through this , as long as it's just a million and not the entire community, EA doesn't care
For it to work you must have your controller connected before you start the game and also disconnect your mouse and keyboard and when you load in you should be able to use you controller

@@Kay2no After a couple days I sat down and fixed it. 1.Delete and reinstall the game.(Delete all the ea folders. 2.Make sure you set your audio output is set to your speaker and not controller. 3 I also reset the pc (But kept my files) Then it worked
@@LDB56 but when i plug my switch controller in it says its an xbox controller and the left stick makes my charector go down when it should go up and i cant even use my right stick for dribbling
@@DavidTha1It sounds like your mouse and keyboard is overriding your Switch controller because when my keyboard was overriding my controller, my character couldn’t dribble. So check that the Switch controller is in control over you keyboard and mouse.
All of these errors are probably things to do with connecting your controller to your PC. Just make sure your mouse and keyboard aren’t overriding your controller and that the pc doesn’t think you are playing with keyboard and mouse. Some problems are worse than others, for instance some people’s controllers didn’t work at all but for me it was just my in game controls so just make sure you have completely taken out your keyboard and mouse.

me too laptop but connect the controller on bluetooth like me and it worked fine
