Original solo piano composition in Galant/Baroque/Classical, Haydn/Handel/Bach style. "Lifting Skyward Prelude for Solo Piano" for an Emotional Piano Film track. This is a piano composition set in standard Film/TV Cue length and form. The form is set to revolve around a single musical theme and have a duration of two minutes. The form also includes two drops (aka, 2 Breaks) to be used as edit points by audio producers.

This piano piece was rejected for use as a film/tv cue due to not having the correct song form/motivic pattern. No complaints about the use of humanistic pedal noises in the VSTi, or on the rubato. The recommendation was to use "a simple motif and develop very slightly throughout over the same A-section; the melody should be sparse and develop with a similar sparseness" rather than how this piece uses "rhythmic lyrical melody".
