I don't why but I tested all the images in the official site but my rpi4 doesn't boot correctly, stucks on an infinite loob and it never loads.

Brilliant and easy to follow tutorial, Don! Only thing I had trouble with, my own fault, was I had unzipped the gapps file and stuck *that* on my USB rather than leaving it zipped, but that was quickly discovered and fixed.
I might try using magix as there's an app that says it won't work which is the same error I get on a hacked Amazon tablet I have and if I can get it to work on the Pi4 I'm guessing that same trick will work on my tablet.

For those that don't have Gparted, you can get a live iso version and run it on an extra usb, or if you know how to you can probably use a virtual machine to do it

Great video tutorial. Unfortunately the HDMI sound is not working all the time, if I start YT it works for the first clip, the next one isn’t working. Wifi is for some reasons also not connecting (which isn’t a major problem for me as I can connect via Ethernet as well). Any ideas?
Fyi, I’m using a RPi4/8GB with all Firmware updates, also the wifi chip is updated….

This is really good material. Thank you for your work. Would you be so kind and could you demonstrate, whether webcam microphone works under Google Meet (Lineage OS 20 Android 13)? If a person calls someone from Google Meet on Android 13 / Lineage OS (Raspberry Pi 4), it is not possible to hear that person. I tried different Lineage releases, various webcams, various communication tools (Google Meet, Google Duo, Zoom, WhatsApp, ...). Always getting the same problem. Interesting is, that it is possible to record audio messages using webcam microphone on this setup. It looks like many people have problem like this, so It would help many. Thanks.

Could it be possible to install aosp dialer and messages as well as connect a 3g/4g compatible with the pi to make it an android phone. Id assume there would be drivers needed of some sort

Hi! I loved the video but i'm having 2 issues the 1st one is that it won't instantly recognize my screen as touchable so i can only use it with my mouse.
the second problem is that once i activate the touchscreen option in the settings and restart it just never boot again!

Yeah, Android desktop is a little limited. No, it won't be my daily driver. Still it's impressive for a product Google doesn't really focus on.

I found a workaround. I was using a Mac mouse which works but the arrow is invisible so you can't see where you are clicking. I plugged in a tablet and the mouse arrow appeared so I can now use either.

I used the gapps zip listed in this video. Everything went great. But when opening Play Store, I get the error "This version of the app isn't compatible with your device. To fix this problem, got to Settings and uninstall updated to Google Play Store app." Any ideas? Running the OS in the video.

I downloaded the zip file and imaged it using Raspi imager (custom OS) . Only 1 partition on the SD card is FAT32 and it will not boot. Just stuck in an infinite loop of commands. I have tried this by using both windows PC and Raspi Os. Any help would be much appreciated.

bro in this video above process am able to observe Android UI on first boot but in my case on starting boot am getting TWRP boot after trying multiple boots and reflashing OS facing same issue is their any solution..?

I am getting an error one when trying to install litegapps from source forge. I tried other versions of gapps with the same error. anyone know what's going on?
I even registered the rpi4 with google by device ID and the Amazon Prime video app will not play video.
I didnt get the GSF for registering the ID, it did not display for me

I installed gapps and playstore is on the menu now. But i can't get it to be register. I've located my device id an used that for registration. But still it's not working? Any solution? Also screen saver (clock) isn't working. Any one else?

Hi. Im constantly getting "not responding with wait and quit button on display.... Otherwise works. What coud be the problem, anyone knows? Useing pi4b with 2GB in flirc case.
How long does it normally take to boot up for the first time? Maybe I've messed something up but it's been several minutes stuck on a screen that just says "android". I'm using a 128GB microSD card though. I might try a smaller one.
Make sure you did not boot into it before expanding the partition. If you did, erase & format the sd card, rewrite the image, expand the storage partition, then put into your pi and boot it up.
