  • This is a grill cleaning video and I'm embarrassed to show you how dirty my grills actually are. I was very skeptical when I bought the Grill Rescue and just wanted to see if all the advertising was worth the hype. I have to say it not only worked but removed the buildup too!

    Thanks for your review. I've watched several videos on this product, most from you tubers that were sent the product for free. So I do appreciate your review after buying the product yourself, I'm not saying the reviewers that received free product wouldn't be honest, but I always am a little leery. And you are also the only reviewer that I watched that actually did run it through the dishwasher and showed the result after it came out. It actually looks cleaner than I would have thought. I am leaning towards buying one now, thanks!

      LOL, glad it was helpful! I do leave an Amazon link in my video descriptions which does help motivate me to buy more things to review..

    I just got one for Father’s Day. It worked great on my grill as well. Be careful of the steam as that bit me on the initial swipe. Great review!!

      I noticed that my charcoal grill created a hot ash steam that likes to burn my hand, vs the gas grill that doesn't happen

    I have a kamado as well. I was curious about the cold water cracking the ceramic lining since it was so hot. Thanks for the video

      I would worry about that if it was 500+ degrees, but under 500 is no problem.

    Thanks for the demo. It appears to produce similar results to a wad of wet paper towers and some tongues.

      I've tried doing that and all I got was a bunch of paper chunk left on my grill. This thing is definitely worth it and I bought it myself.

    How long did it take for you order to come in I bought mine almost 2 months ago and ever since they gave me a tracking number they cut off all communication the package has showed DHL awaiting receipt of package for over 2 weeks. Grill rescue stopped responding once they gave the tracking number.

      That's not a good sign, you may need to cancel your order. I put a link in the video description to where I purchased it.

    Thanks. I've wondered about this product because it is expensive.

    These brushes are really good. They do a phenomenal job if you use it after every time you grill but they don't last very long and are expensive. I got three months out of the brush head and replacement heads are $25.

      How many times did you use yours in 3 months?

      @@CarolinaCowboys I don't have an exact number but once every 5 to 7 days would be a fair guess, so 15-20 I would say. Also, we have a Weber grill and the grates are about 1/2" wide and flat. The head was cleaned in our dishwasher after each use. I wish I could post a photo here to show you how mine wore through the cover to expose the inside of the head.

      I used mine about 10 times and it started to tear up. I do like it though. I’m thinking I should have used the scraper on it more and then used the brush to get all the debris off. Is it ok to use a scraper on a grill? I wasn’t sure how much is ok.

    • @CarolinaCowboys
      @CarolinaCowboys  8 місяців тому

      @@brandonnorris4146 yeah you can as long as you don’t have the coated kind of grill. I accidentally melted mine and I’m about to do a video of a newer one

    I might try it with a wet rag. I'll fold it to make it thicker so I don't get burned.

    It seems to clean the top layer finem but what about the grime and build-up between the grates?

    • @CarolinaCowboys
      @CarolinaCowboys  8 місяців тому +1

      You'll want to scrape that first. I accidentally ended up melting mine and getting a newer version so I'm going to post that video soon.

    Thank you for the great review! I just bought one after finding metal bristles from new grill brush in our hamburgers . Needless to say we threw them out. This grill rescue is the best invention ever. Really does clean the grates beautifully . Comes clean in the dishwasher. ❤

      Yeah that is the same reason why I went looking for something else. I do like it though it takes forever to dry and it melts very easily! Check out my updated video - ua-cam.com/video/gXBfqLQhY4Q/v-deo.htmlsi=jvJk5VsQrqgLER8H

      I'd say it's probably worth it even though there are quirks like it doesn't dry, and I accidentally melted mine in the oven. I'm making an update video to come out soon.

    This thing SUCKS! I bought it 2 y ago. It does a WORSE JOB than regular steel brushes. leaves TONS of grime in between the grates

    • @CarolinaCowboys
      @CarolinaCowboys  6 днів тому +1

      Well I would say it's very good for cleaning up after a grill and keeping it clean, but if you're starting out with a nasty grate then you might want to get it clean before using it.
