thank you for your honest review. i will save my money and use the mini-tripod i already have instead of spending more money for the manfrotto pixi for my new ricoh theta. the one mini tripod i already have is all metal and lite but strong. the plastic leg getting loose is not for me. left you a thumb up for your complete and concise review.

Thinking of buying this tripod and cutting off the legs to use as a side handle on my camera cage. You think the legs would cut off/ me removed easily for this application?

bro mine is new but when you use force to turn the ballhead with a dslr mounted on, it moves but it is not loose. It does not move freely but it is not that tight to hold my dslr strongly. Is mine a faulty one?
