Saw them with Eivør in Boulder last year and seeing them again at Red Rocks this year. Can’t wait!

IMHO Eivor's vocals suits better to this than Aurora's (even her are very good). Many wishses about making studio version with Eivor or Aurora ( Won't be dissapointed even if they would do with both :D ) This masterpiece is so eternal..
Honestly a females vocals should carry the song out threw the end the male vocals really kills the flow of intention for me each time I've heard it with aurora and Eivor...the stopping of the music after such a big build up and being carried up and away with the girls angelic floating voices ...makes me cringe a bit I'm being honest...and takes me to the bits I don't like at church funerals with a bunch of praying that doesn't keep the grieves attention....I m a strong believer that the music should carry us tapering away and letting us be in silence more many moments afterwords ..like following the vibrations till the last vibration of a singing bowl.THESE are my feelings and what I'd love at my days and nights end...I love everything about this piece except it's end...
Hearing this song, I remember my little sister, mom and dad passed away last years. Magical music! Thanks Eivor and Einar for this amazing and magic song!

Einar Selvik has a truly magnificent voice, and he's simply a gorgeous man. Eivor Paldottir kicks some serious butt too...I wish they'd do a tour here in Canada!

Thank you, Roland, for the upload of this performance. I've recently discovered Eivor, much to my excitement and pleasure, and now I have a deep appreciation for Einar and the culture that produces these musicians and the powerful songs they sing.(from a small town in Northern California).
Can we get Eivor, Wardruna, and Aurora to be on the same stage at the same time. That would be magical.

Helvegen sounds so good with female vocals at the beginning part. When Aurora did it, it was beautiful! And with Eivor its still beautiful!
I tend to prefer Eivor's performance on this, her singing fits better the soundscape IMHO

Eivor is more... mature I would say and therefore more suits the performance but the difference in superiority is somewhat marginal... Love it
