Fun fact: Most the Mountains or forests in bte are actually made by ai, so the amazon Rainforest and the mountains are probably already built, they just need to build all the structures.

It would be great to have a feature that would make entering building possible. Like for example, a famous small building, there would be an option for the builder to open it for interior build, where the scaling is 10x smaller (10 blocks inside = 1 outside) It would allow for example to show the interior of a typical house in a specific location.
While that's a cool idea, that would make their job for than 10x bigger and harder. It's possible with some famous buildings, perhaps, but not on any large scale.
Imagine all the insane events people could run when the whole map is finally finished and pieced together. Like, imagine some sort of post apocalyptic survival minigame in the empty yet complete and intact Earth.
I remember seeing the announcement video before it blew up. I just know, that someday this will be finished and will balloon into an even bigger deal. This is just such a wild concept, such a wild project, its so cool to see where it will go. I would certainly participate if I had the time. Godspeed to you madlads, godspeed.
You should all work in a photo book that looks very professional and slick maybe using the Minecraft font and showcasing some of the best buildings and cities and just putting a small photo of what the real life place looks like and a text box where it has the location and what the building is I think it could help fund this amazing project I would personally buy it
Seeing how quickly animals started chilling in parking lots like it was no big deal the moment we shut down was awe-inspiring. I have never loved being in the city more than during the lock down. Human features populated by nature.. there aren't words to describe how profoundly happy that made me.

When I visited Saskatchewan I went to the University of Saskatchewan and it was so cool and beautiful, it would be really cool to see it in this Minecraft world
I've been part of Minefact for well over a year now, but It was actually super cool seeing you go through the global showcase and be super positive about what everyone was working on, and kinda gave me a perspective of the project as a whole that I never really appreciated fully.

This is my favorite minecraft project ive ever seen seriously. Its so next level that the building itself will probaly take SOOOO Many years and lotssssss of people. I cant wait for the finished map of like 10tb when its out😂
I bet most of those images are blender render. There is actually a handy tool that lets you import Minecraft world's into blender. There you can use an hdri (the sky you saw in those images) which lights the scene and render a ray traced image. And those images that seemed so symmetrical or squeezed together, where rendered with a high focal length over 100mm or even orthographic view. You can get a similar effect by changing the pov setting in Minecraft to a lower number, it will zoom in and make everything look closer together.
