The way I saw TANK and just died. I thoroughly tried to convince myself that NMIXX’s debut wasn’t that bad, but whenever I hear that song in particular I just feel pain 😅.
i adore nmixx they’re SUPER talented, but it took me months to add O.O and Tank to my kpop playlist… they’ve both grown on me a lot since then though. i’ve been able to get over freaky fishy fishy, but what I can’t get over is that weird distracting time signature at the beginning of O.O lmaooo. but all in all i really enjoy nmixx haha
I have a feeling that if O.O and Tank were released by a debut group from a not-too-popular entertainment company, those songs would have flopped really hard. Since NMIXX is from JYPE, one of the Big 3, it was easier for them to get away with it and people will try their hardest to like the songs. I still remember that the group got tons of pre-orders even though JYPE hadn't reveal the members AND the group name yet. I'm also not saying that NMIXX isn't talented, they're SUPER talented and I adore Lily M. However, I do acknowledge that being in the Big 3 gives them an advantage to succeed as a debut group with mediocre songs.
I love Katy and I feel she doesn't need any major success like she did when she released prism or teenage dream. she accomplished so much that she really doesn't need a big hit because she is such a big name already. she's a mother and she's focusing on her kid and getting that bag in Las Vegas!
true, she's actually happy with her life rn, and tbh idc if she's not a hit in the billboard anymore because it's a hit in my house and with my friends lol
@Nightwing defeating bad guys I'm not even a fan of Katy, but like, she's definitely still thriving... I'm sure she's not complaining lol. So while she might seem like a flop to the major public, she's really not. She's still a rich celeb and can live the life she wants so I wouldn't call that a flop.
Nothing like digging up old flops. I love how creative and hilarious each of your videos are. I never know what you’re going to talk about and yet I’m never disappointed 😂💛
Harry is so talented, the fact that he has made it to #1 with all three albums warms my heart. Louis’ got a unique voice but harry is top tier in writing and vocals! Absolutely love him
I remember when the yogurt thing happened, I was so confused initially cuz when I see sugar-free I just think "oh I can have that without my blood sugar levels going nuts, cool" diet culture didn't even cross my mind lmao. Us diabetics, smh 😤
I'm not diabetic and still there is too much added sugar into pretty much everything. And it's truly bad for our health, also for us who can process sugar. Had I seen the sugar-free froyo, I would have assumed that the guilt free is because it is healthier than anything with sugar in it. Demi needs to chill, and take a break from SoMe... they are too easily triggered by everything
She does! I was just about to comment how cute she looks with blonde hair! It reminds me of when she used to do book reviews! That's how I found her channel and that's why I love her channel so much her sense of humor was so funny! I wish she would do book reviews every once in awhile again
I just feel bad for Demi because they really seem to be going through it and literally everyone is just enabling them in the worst ways. Like, someone on their team needs to look out for them and, like, not encourage a paranormal Brittney-repeat

Can you allow your graphics to be on screen just a second longer? Maybe slow down just a little? I would reduce the playback speed but it makes it weird. If I'm the only one no worries, love your work!
Even though the billion streams wasn't accurate, at one point in 2017, Strip That Down actually was the highest selling solo single for a 1D member. I know it probably isn't now but Liam was talking about how big an impact the song had right out of the gate, so then he had to refocus onto trying to top that. I don't know why he said he wasn't looking for a solo career though because he was one of the first in the studio post hiatus, even posting teasers on IG of his work. His biggest mistake was trying to move into hip hop. Also when he said he was placed at the front of the band at first, that was true. He's mentioned it many times over the years. He was the only one who had experience with live performance so the XF crew just put him at the front while the others got used to performing.
@@jj-if6it I get acute second-hand embarrassment every time it comes on the radio. There is no way it is being played for any reason other than payola.
I think Liam's problem is he has no idea who he is and is too insecure and too desperate for relevancy and popularity to be vulnerable and explore who he is and take risks. Instead he is just musically flailing around throwing trends at a wall and hoping it works. The other members of 1D on the other hand also had to find who they were, but let themselves be vulnerable and take risks, and as a result people loved it and related to it. Louis is doing completely different kinds of music, but his fans adore him for his relatable and heartfelt lyrics, and non-fans like me respect him for it. I'm a fan of BTS, and when they announced they were going on a break to do solo music and complete their military service, they spoke about how the industry moves so fast you loose sight of who you are and prevented them for finding who they had grown into over the years. Now they are exploring different sides of themselves in their solo music with the same vulnerability and courage they have always shown in their group music. I think Zayn, Harry, Louis and Niall have all also gone through that process, being vulnerable, finding who they are and accepting themselves and their music for who and what it is rather that trying to chase trends and what people expect. I don't think Liam has, I think his insecurities are greater than his courage, and I hope that changes for him.
I love Demi, but while they're busy defending extraterrestrials maybe they could remember diabetics exist? My partner's pancreas is literally just for show, but they still need to eat. 😅😅😅

She sang her heart out and some of those tracks expressed how she was at her most vulnerable.
unrelated but i like this way of bringing adverts into content much more than trying to sneak up on the viewers and forcefully trying to braid it into the content
my personal definition of a flop era isnt about the artist themselves, but how the current society views this artist. for example, witness by katy is my absolutely fav katy album, but the society then was too fragile about the topics katy were about to discuss, and that's why it flopped.

@@victorleiva4231 😂😂
I think we all can flop
Truth!
I also Stockholm Syndrome'd myself into liking Nmixx's debut, you're not alone
Naur cuz I think I lost a part of myself when I accepted O.O into my playlist. But somehow I'm not _too_ sad abt that homicide.
me with sticker :(
Lmao
im sorry but oo is the prime example of noise music. like those girls truly were singing next to sounds
I’ve gotten to the point where I genuinely love O.O it’s not even a joke anymore, lol
Katy Perry’s “Just Eats” is by far the most Katy Perry song I’ve ever heard. Deserved to chart
“You either die young” hit differently now.
The way I saw TANK and just died. I thoroughly tried to convince myself that NMIXX’s debut wasn’t that bad, but whenever I hear that song in particular I just feel pain 😅.
WRONG it slays
they slayeddd
i adore nmixx they’re SUPER talented, but it took me months to add O.O and Tank to my kpop playlist… they’ve both grown on me a lot since then though. i’ve been able to get over freaky fishy fishy, but what I can’t get over is that weird distracting time signature at the beginning of O.O lmaooo. but all in all i really enjoy nmixx haha
Hey hey hey o.o is a certified bop i loved from the moment I watched the mv……tank is another story lmao
I used to be a HUGE fan of one direction and found Harry’s solo music to be the best of the group even though Louis was my favourite. Louis’ got a unique voice but harry is top tier in writing and vocals! Absolutely love him
I was starting to miss your content glad to see you’re back
🥹🥹🥹 im glad to be back too :))
Demi needs to chill, and take a break from SoMe... they are too easily triggered by everything
your hair looks unreal ❣️
thank you 🥹
She does! I was just about to comment how cute she looks with blonde hair! It reminds me of when she used to do book reviews! That's how I found her channel and that's why I love her channel so much her sense of humor was so funny! I wish she would do book reviews every once in awhile again
because it looks like a filter? lol
Right? I’m in love 🥰 it looks so good on her!
@@caseyaonso4270 I love your hair
well.. rest in peace liam
I just feel bad for Demi because they really seem to be going through it and literally everyone is just enabling them in the worst ways. Like, someone on their team needs to look out for them and, like, not encourage a paranormal Brittney-repeat
I agree. But I feel like if you're the one saying no, you won't be a part of the team for long.
@@chaosKix fr. How many times do we need to watch a former child star have a public psychological meltdown before Disney stops doing this
@@AdamOfIngolstadt maybe, and I say MAYBE, if somebody die.
@@soaribb32 nah, Disney would be "So tragic. Thoughts and prayers", take zero responsibility and move on... They are too greedy to actually give a damn.
The fact that people went back to saying shit to her after what she went through. I get it, the fro yo incident was stupid. But why don't people get it that it could be her acting up like that due to her trauma?
We love the nmixx mention. They are so freaky freshy freshy. Tank. Tanked.
Omg yesssss
Nmixx ate
I’m always amazed at how you are consistently able to come up which such interesting video ideas!!!
Right?? She’s amazing and so funny!
🥹😭😭 im glad u like them!!
That clip of Demi being a ghost whisperer had me in tears
Can you allow your graphics to be on screen just a second longer? Maybe slow down just a little? I would reduce the playback speed but it makes it weird. If I'm the only one no worries, love your work!
for sure! and ty :)
You are not the only one! I kept having to rewind and try to pause
Same lmao
I like the fast pace tho.. y’all gotta keep up
@@caseyaonso4270 Don’t listen to them bae pls I beg. They can literally just slow the video. I tried it, & it doesn’t look weird at all lmao.
Raised on Disney and I’m 3 decades into my flop era and honestly it takes the edge off disappointment.
Gary Vee as the 'Hey Hun' of the celebrity world is so spot on
Even though the billion streams wasn't accurate, at one point in 2017, Strip That Down actually was the highest selling solo single for a 1D member. He was the only one who had experience with live performance so the XF crew just put him at the front while the others got used to performing.
yeah the song is trash though
im so annoyed that everyone thinks it was because the yogurt was sugar free. Its because it was called guilt free. hence the implication that sugar should make you feel guilty. the phrase 'guilt free' to describe food can be super triggering lol
She needs to speak to a ghost who was diabetic in their life. She’ll find a haunted glucose monitor
i mean demi has actual brain damage so i do think people should take that into consideration
@@ginakoko1968 oh ... Yeah, "guilt-free"-labeled food, when it means low-calorie (and not vegan) makes me think of the articles in early 2000s Cosmopolitan. Icky.

I'm in a chronic flop era for years now.
it is going to get better, stay strong friend💖that´ll just add to your lore and build your character
this is unrelated but i just checked out casey´s spotify and her music taste is just brilliant😭
LMAO THE NMIXX REFERENCE but fr tank was so good idc
the subtle kpop references are SO funny i actually cant with the tank part
what's funnier is katy perry released a new album again and it flopped so hard, people were saying its bad for the environment
"untapped chlamydia boy lore" has me dying LMAO
i actually saw katy perry in concert during the witness era and IT WAS THE BEST CONCERT i have ever been too and i feel like both of the two “flop” era albums are pretty good
YOU LOOK SO GOOD CASE I’m loving the hair it brings out ur eyes!

3:50 valid tho tank is a banger, I didn't like it at first BUT IT'S SO GOOD
3:50 love the nmixx plug (and I too stockholmed myself into liking their songs, O.O is kind of a bop 😔🤙🏾)
O.O is an anthem and I’ll unapologetically say that. But I’m a sucker for messy songs
Those songs are so bad but Lily and Sullyoon's vocals save it for me and make them at least listenable lol.
@@atmosphericentry0 fr, O.O is a certified banger !
I adore Liam so much and honestly he has achieved so much for himself as 31 yrs.I always celebrated him through his ups and downs and i'm glad his memories are alive. This world never deserved Liam.
As Queen Trixie Mattel says: ⭐️Hey, Flop⭐️💅
katy perry’s 365 is a whole BOP like it’s so good and the music video is really cute too. 🥰
Oh my GOD YES. Someone knows the song- even the video has a bomb concept and its super good...
Whenever Casey talks about celebrities it kinda goes over my head, but I'm still about it. I had never heard of Matthew Morrison until she made that video but now when she brings up "Mr. Schue energy" in comparison to a viral video I hadn't seen before of a person I've only heard of in passing dancing in a weird way, I'm just like "omg yes!" Love when she references something from her previous videos cuz then I feel like I'm in the loop :) It's almost like a Casey Aonso cinematic universe with reoccurring characters like Ratallouis and Jason Derulo
I expected a straightforward essay but this was filled with so many little references it was 100 times better. Like even referencing Lauren from Fifth Harmony, Glee, Team10, Usher in that random video- the work this probably took is insane! Loved it!
That Demi show reeks of Peacock having everything ready to go for a ghost hunter show but hosts one thru eight dropped out so they got Demi at the last minute
Demi has “Miss? You forgot to give us homework!” Energy.
Witness is my top 5 katy song
I wish I had a flop era. Instead, I just have a flop existence.
the random tank by nmixx clip caught me completely off guard. 😭
I can’t believe the demi lyric is real I’m in tears???
Right the auto tune is chefs kiss
Right?! It’s so cringy and hilarious
I feel like you're truly the most experienced and nuanced 'internet veteran' on this hellsite, every reference and meme, every niche moment that ties in beautifully. It's like we all jump on the same adhd thought train and giggle at cringe, and in doing so we become masters of it. It's like I'm immune to cringe now through being a Casey Aonso viewer, or rather, I embrace the parts of me that are cringe. Thank you for taking us on this spiritual journey, my crops are now watered and my rent is PAID.
i love the venn diagram. if you are a fan of Demi Lovato and believe in aliens, it's sufficient to say you have a peacock subscription
😂
I only have peacock bc the wwe network got moved there 😂
Watching this after Liam passed like 🧍🏽♀️
I cannot make this up I was in target 20 minutes ago and all of Demi's vinyl's for dancing with the devil were on clearance
Tank is a certified bop 4:06
I'M SO FREAKY FISHY FISHY LIKE A TANK I'MMA 🗣️🗣️📢📢
The Tank by NMIXX chorus popping up SENT MEEE. Like objectively it's bad right but - it's catchy 😭
Watching this after liam paynes death hits different
U are so right Demi’s management is kind of……throwing everything at the wall and hoping something sticks 😭😭😭😭 they have such a pretty soulful voice smh they’ve been teasing a rock punk emo era (only bc it’s trendy again) but I think they should move to rnb because it would be so much better with their voice
The Tell Me You Love Me era was the absolute best style for them vocally imo. That was a good record.
THIS!! It feels like they are constantly changing trends and aesthetics- it feels inauthentic? Like DWTD was chasing kacey musgraves vibes. I was excited for this new era but ur right, it feels like they’re only doing it cause it’s trendy and the music has been disappointing (imo). TMYLM was peak, miss that
Holy Fvck is gonna be their best era
@@alexandrachavez3835 I think that holy fck is their best album to date. In terms of music production, the album is more dynamic as compared to her last one.
Lol Demi has always been a metal fan and her 1st album were pop/rock, it's not only because it's trendt it's simply because that's what she loves lmao. She has never been authentic when doing her pop or whatever styles and it shows.
Holy fuck was her best, just not promoted properly
IM CRYING OVER THE FACT 'TANK' BY NMIXX RANDOMLY POP UPPPPP
because of you "Liam Payne" pops up in my UA-cam bar of like, recommended interests or whatever and I can't decide if I forgive you or not
Casey when you brought out tank I gasped so hard, I myself have been struggling with accepting that I find that song really good and seeing you share a similar experience is the type of girl support I need
i haven't been around lately so when casey exposed herself as an nmixx stan i choked
Casey, there is nothing wrong with liking NMIXX. I have also fallen into the freaky fresh fresh.
Katy Perry got me through middle school she will forever be in my heart… even with that haircut
rip liam🕊️
I could watch a whole documentary on this from you, so good
The fact that l watched this the day Liam Payne died 😭Rest in peace though 🙏🕊️
Now rank them. Rank the flop eras.
I’m not kidding that would be really fun.

your occasional kpop insertions make me so curious abt ur thoughts on kpop and the culture around it
We need to talk about how the “tiktok nursery rhyme song” impression was scarily accurate
I get so excited when I see you post and I’m LOVING the hair!!! So beautiful and thank you for the content ❤️❤️
I appreciate this video having the phrase "untapped chlamydia boy lore"
OH MY GOD THE RING RING DINGA DING DONG AD HAS BEEN FOLLOWING ME LIKE A RASH AND I HAD NO IDEA IT WAS KATY HAHAHGSJAGA
liKE A RASH- 💀
That 5 second clip of Demi's song is just the outro and she follows up laughing saying that she doesn't currently need anyone right now but the the thought is nice. It's tongue in cheek and unserious. She knows it's a silly song.
I will forever defend Dancing with the Devil era because it's her best album to date imo. She sang her heart out and some of those tracks expressed how she was at her most vulnerable.
Casey I think this might be one of your best videos yet. I laughed so much I actually cried, truly loving the energy and comedy.
unrelated but i like this way of bringing adverts into content much more than trying to sneak up on the viewers and forcefully trying to braid it into the content
This definitely needs a part 2, AT LEAST
my personal definition of a flop era isnt about the artist themselves, but how the current society views this artist.
for example, witness by katy is my absolutely fav katy album, but the society then was too fragile about the topics katy were about to discuss, and that's why it flopped.
The transition from demi to Millie got me chokin 😂
