Terrific review!! My daughter owned a Zippy for several years and used it daily. Her beloved wallet and other items were stolen from her car while parked in her driveway. Needless to say she was heartsick and searched the neighborhood for it after some of her credit cards and ID were found floating in the intercoastal. She cared about the return of nothing other than her wallet. The Zippy never showed up and she purchased a lovely replacement from a different designer. Being her mom, I could tell that she didn't care for the replacement each time I saw her use it. It made me sad that she missed her Zippy so much, especially since she isn't a materialistic person. Low and behold - I stumbled across several savings bonds from her childhood that had been gifted by relatives to save for her education. The happy ending is that she holds an all expenses paid Master's degree - and a new Zippy. Based on her opinion and this review, I'm going to be the next proud owner of a monogram Zippy!

I have this wallet in the black multicolor monogram. I got it in Feb 2015, and it's my favorite wallet EVER. I first bought the Insolite, but took it back because it didn't fit in my pochette accessoires. Anyway, I don't inspect my pieces, but after watching this, I just did. No need for reglazing yet, and I did find one of those little hairs you mentioned, but I never noticed it before, it's so tiny. I adore this wallet. I downsize for small bags, but the minute I'm back to a large-enough bag, I'm right back in this wallet. To be honest, I carry it most of the time. I never baby it, and it still looks brand new, silk screen is even still perfect. I love it! Great video!

Although I agree, sometimes this style of wallet is too big for some purses, so I actually treated myself with a Mulberry medium french purse wallet that's smaller bit still holds a lot. So I can't wait to start using that one. It was around 500€ so it was pretty expensive.

Kiko In my humble opinion...I feel like LV's lower priced wallets have a lot of wasted space on them. They have so much space for more Credit Card slots & they make the weirdest/awkward slit compartments on them. For example on your Josephine wallet and Emilie wallet...why not make an outside zipped coin compartment... and add some CC slots inside. Who wants to pay close to $500 if not more for 4 CC slits and no organization. Just my opinion though.

Question! Would I be able to fit a cellphone in there? I don't have a bulky case or a plus phone.
If a phone can fit in it, it would be really snug. I would recommend using it solely as a wallet not a clutch.

I have this same wallet with the rose ballerine interior but I'm sure its exactly the same and I'm curious if you have the same issue while zipping it that I do. sometimes the zipper from the smaller pouch inside tends to stand up while I'm zipping it and it pokes out in a way and it makes me feel like its stretching the fabric where the exterior zipper is. I'm not sure if it makes sense I spoke about it in a vlog but thats not up yet incase u didn't understand but I hope I made sense. I have that problem a lot so I constantly have to check that the inside zipper is down before I close it.

Can you please do a review on the zippy vs the clemence? Different price points not sure which is going to be big enough. Of course like the cheaper one but not sure if it will hold all my items.
I don't have a clemency wallet to give a full comparison. I've seen it in person though and I will say I like the size of the zippy better. It fits so much more. I also like that it comes in the classic colors versus the colors, if that makes sense! XOXO

The canvas has definitely changed and they are even different now depending on the piece. Some are more structured, some are softer. It's normal for them to be different. XO

Hi Amanda, I bought mt zippy wallet almost a year ago from LV store and i've been using it on a daily basis. I noticed a discoloration on the zipper handle as well as loose threading on the sides. Is this normal? How's the wear and tear of your zippy wallet? I'm wondering if I should bring it to LV.

I have it in epi, I also have my zippy coin purses in vernis and the Porte Tresor international wallet in monogram matte leather. I use the zippy wallet for travelling as it can hold all of the families passports and my iPhone. I use the zippy coin purse daily but force myself to rotate all three of them. I'm sending the zippy wallet and the Porte Tresor international wallet for reglazing soon along with my Noe to repair the trim.

I am not sure, I don't have the 12 pro max. I'd check measurements and compare. You can also go into LV to try it out! If I had to guess I'd say no though.

Love the zippy wallet! But, I'll just have to be happy with my Emilie. I had to share with you what a French UA-camr said that irritates her. She hates when we Americans refer to the cles as key cles because cles means key and we're just saying key key twice. Gosh, I hope that just any lick of sense 😂

Ha, yes that's true as is the case with other things... like chai tea for example. Chai means tea in many languages (including mine) so when someone orders a chai tea at a coffee shop, they're actually saying tea tea. A pet peeve of mine as well.

Mine was fairly new so yes they did, you can take your items up to a store to have them give you a cost for repair. XOXO
