This is a wonderful performance but I love the one he gave on I am singer 2017. There is a video of Dimash going to the hospital for injections in his throat. Because we knew Dimash was in real discomfort on that performance and was so worried he wouldn’t get through it, it seemed to add even more poignancy. He left out the main run, but did a great job. Maybe watch that on your own just to see Dimash doesn’t want to disappoint the audience.

It is very nice that you diligently learn the background of the songs performed by Dimash yourself. And the song "Unforgettable Day" Dimash wrote himself when he was still a teenager. Maybe it was thanks to his first crush, maybe! At the 2017 contest "I am a singer" in China, Dimash performed the song "Dawn", ill, and with a high fever. But according to the rules of the competition, he could not miss his performance. And there is a video on UA-cam where Dimash, before the performance, is taken to a doctor who gives him an injection of an injection right into his throat. And when they asked Dimash how he was able to sing with such a high temperature, he replied that it was even easier for him to sing on his vocal cords warmed up from high temperature, but he strongly advised against risking others, his vocal cords, so much.

Hi, William! Yes, Daybreak is one of my favorite Dimash performances to date. I think he was 10 years old when he first heard this song and it had a profound impact on him. When he performed it on The Singer, he had lost his voice and his throat was very sore. He went to the doctor and the doctor did everything he could to get his voice back to a point where he could still sing. But the doctor told Dimash not to use any of his high notes. He did a great job singing it. I could tell he wasn't at his absolute best, but he still did it. He actually did hit the G5, which surprised me, remembering the doctor's warning.

You know some of this already - for Dimash, this is the first chinese song that he ever heard, he was 10 at the time, and his whole body began trembling. He first covered this song on The Singer chinese show - and in the backstage footage told what this song means to him. Also, the day when he performed it on the show, he was sick and had lost his voice in the morning. He was taken to the doctor and was given 4 injections in the throat, but they didn`t do much until the hour of the performance came. Before going on stage he could barely speak. When he stepped on the stage, he was thinking of all the people waiting to hear him. And his voice came, and he gave an amazing, heart-breaking performance. When he got off the stage, his voice disappeared again, and it took several days to recover. If you want to see his whole description of what this song means to him, his view on family, footage of Dimash with his family, as background for what this song means to him, plus what technical choices he made to give a perfect performance in spite of the state of his health, here`s the link for The Singer performance, with english subtitles, and behind the scenes footage : ua-cam.com/video/uXGF7vgEYKk/v-deo.html (turn CC on, as subtitles are a hybrif - part of the subtitles are burned into the video, some are accessible by turning on the CC)
He later said in an interview that his throat felt like broken glass when singing, and when I looked closely, I realized that he was pale and his hands were shaking at times.
Thank you for giving such attention to this particular song - it`s a very important one for us fans, because of it`s backstory, because of Dimash`s heartbreaking struggle with his voice in 2017, and because of the footage with his family, and his view on it :)

Dimash geatwsy talent is to deliver the song and to tell the story one of the most emotional performance. He is man of contrast, he can prepare you for battle or put you down for nap, he can make you fall in love and also broke your heart. He can make you happy and also sad. I’m saying this as a complimentary

so heartbreaking indeed. i love both performances.
the prior performance, with him being under the weather, had more "grit" and more "pain",
ironically because of him being sick, i personally ended up feeling more of the paid, and sorrow of the song, because of the "quality of the voice".

Amazing reaction...you are very special when it comes to making a dignified reaction...and being the virtuous Dimash is not for less...the world needs more people like you, with true knowledge of what a true talent is, someone unique, where your tongue, don't mind when it comes to saying this is the best thing I've seen in my whole life... it's my thinking but following your musical career I know it's yours too.

Could you do a reaction to a duet that Dimash performed with Tengri - a mongolian Singer - called Snow Goose. It will give you different vibes as it is perform with traditional Mongolia Throat singing by a member of the traditional mongolian band that accompanies them! The duet is performed in mongolian, Mandarin and Kazakh! Thanks !! Love your Reactions to Dimash!!!

Well know you have to react to this song from his Chinese contest "Singer" from 2017 becouse he lost his voice the night before this episode and you got to know how he sounds at his worst day!!! More down below on why I think you should react to this...
Episode 8 : 'Daybreak' (Tiān liàng le- Han Hong original artist and writing it!) In Chinese!
Gloria Wu's channel has the back-story about the song that is so sad and from a life story about a boy losing his parents in an awful way. Also you get to hear how Dimash sounds like then loosing his voice the day of the show!!! When he went on he didn’t know if he could sing. Looking close at the other contestants they where so worried about him. He lost his voice again after. Li Jian another contestant bought him a very very expensive Chinese medication for him so he could get better soon! Terry Lin hade gotten a doctors apointment for him. Also Dimash got to talk to Han Hong on the fhone before he got on stage.
    ua-cam.com/video/uXGF7vgEYKk/v-deo.html
Also Dimash got to talk to here during this and in episode 14 he got to meet her to. By then Dimash have alreddy meet "Terry Lin" that many alreddy thought Dumash looked like. Terry eas about 51 years young then. He sings a bit like Dimash and he loves Dimash song "Unforgettible day" So mutch so that they have sung it togheter some times. But during this competion they become friends and Terry was so glad however Dimash that is so respectfull started calling him Father or dad becouse thats the biggest respect he could call him.
Terry came in the contest in episode 5 and in episode 9 Dimash started calling him father and in episode 10 every Chinese got to know that. So when Han Hong came to the lastt episode that was a gala for the invirement she dident know this. So when the talked at the start of this episode they asked her what she thought of every artist there. Sha saide that out of respect for Dimash and his talant she took him as a dopted son!!! Well then she found out that Dimash called Terry Dad!!! So it kinda whent to familey photo. That was kinda nice.

I know from being a singer that you feel really terrible - and guilty! - when your voice doesn't work, and you also feel you are letting everyone down. It's a really unpleasant experience!!! Do you think. he sang 'Daybreak' well in the competition? I haven't looked at it yet but did see some videos of him visiting the doctor!

    • @anna-karinolsson537
      @anna-karinolsson537 Рік тому +1

@@BangkokVoiceCoach I think he sang really good and I think if you gonna get thouse problems it's just the right song to gett them. If you dident know of the problems he had many might not have heard it. Ofcorse if you really knows how he sings you might find that in Bastau consert his voice is moore clean in some seans. I love the "Singer" competion moore becouse you really feels eatch note moore. It's sad he got thouse problems and I think he feelt werry bad for al the audiens that was there. He has a strong senas of not disipoint them. He got lots of support from the puther contestents too. After he sang he lost his voice again. You can reallyu see how mutch it hurts him to sing. Please react to the "Singer" version to.

I heard he does not sing this anymore. As you know he inhabits each song and gives everything. It was said he does not want to absorb so much grief, which is understable. Try watching the whole Bastau concert. It is wonderful and, except for this, he is happy, although Daididau is another song that means a lot to him and he does a really fantastic performance. I hope to see a lot more reactions to dimash from you. Cheers
