What a great composer was BURT. You can feel the emotion in the vains of this melody. One of Burt`s last compositions. BURT was a real composer. A musician in every way. Everthing what he has written are topnotch. BURT R.I.P. and thank you soooo, soooo much for all the great songs!

This is both a song of longing and melancholy. In light of Bacharach's passing the other day, this leaves me emotional and teary.

This Bacharach genre is perfect for Daniel. Please pursue this direction.

Gorgeous song, beautifully sung infused with the genius of Bacharach.

The good news is that this is well arranged and performed. Love the strings, Daniel's singing, but please, where in the information (title, description) does it once mention Bacharach's name? While some (in the comments below) appear to know Bacharach wrote this (one of his last songs). I would guess that a lot of people would have no clue. I'm a boomer and Bacharach is a music "idol" from my generation. I love his distinctive style and the amazing number of hits he churned out over the years. I do think he probably misses Hal David, his ol' lyricist.
