This resonated with me a lot. Since I was little, I never had a good family environment, so I stuck to academic life as a parameter to feel good. The problem is that, when I had to stop studying due to problems at home, I felt like my world collapsed. I want to learn to forgive myself for being so perfectionist and so neglectful of myself sometimes.

Holy… I am currently 1 year sober & decided to pursue nursing and am starting my LVN program in a week. I’ve been pushing myself so hard since July to prepare for the program by studying anatomy EVERYDAY. I’ve been stuck in my head, thinking I’m going to fail or not be smart enough.. studying the nervous system and crying that I killed so many neurons from my addiction and abuse from a toxic relationship..
