I can't express enough how much I love these songs, especially Overrun. Definitely some of your best work alongside Penumbra. The vocals on both Roses and Overrun are incredible. The transition between those songs gives me chills every time. These never get old to me. And the fact that Overrun dates back 5 years? That's just amazing. Holy frick yes! All three of these songs make me feel all kinda of emotions when I listen to them they're absoutely amazing! Overrun being my favorite of the bunch! They all bring their own kind of flare to the party and I adore it!
The singing style / diversity makes me think of that of Casey Lee Williams / RWBY, while the instrumenting makes me think of Crypt of Necrodancer. Great theme song!
How did it take me 4 years to go back and listen to this?? My personal favorite here is Overrun, the strings hit so hard, my soul loves it. But the story it tells is amazing!
I get a real nice Mannheim Steamroller vibe from Prince of Sorrow (particularly Fresh Aire II). Dunno if that was intentional, but excellent work regardless.
Take Walker Technically it’s all one piece, but on the album I split it into three parts. I was really worried about the reception on two 10 minute songs on the album. Since it has three movements, I figured I could split them and make it less daunting, but watching how everyone loved Penumbra, I decided I would let it stand as one full suite on UA-cam :)
Vylet Pony not many people who are as talented as you are willing to be so open, and so incredibly awesome to fandoms. The only other people who cone to mind are people like BlackGryph0n and CalebHyles. Seeing someone who can write amazing music, and has such a wonderful voice, not only representing the trans community, but the Brony and Furry communities as well, is just awesome.
