Isla Culebra is an island-municipality of Puerto Rico and geographically part of the Spanish Virgin Islands. It is located approximately 17 miles (27 km) east of the Puerto Rican mainland, 12 miles (19 km) west of St. Thomas and 9 miles (14 km) north of Vieques.
Originally called Isla del Pasaje and Isla de San Ildefonso, Culebra is also known as Isla Chiquita ("Little Island"), Cuna del Sol Borincano ("Cradle of the Puerto Rican Sun") and Última Virgen ("Last Virgin", due to its position at the end of the Virgin Islands archipelago).

Hi, how can I get to Culebra in one day? Do you know transportation through the island and from PR?
Hi! We used the Ferry, we took the 4am trip, and arrived in Culebra around 6am. They sell the ferry tickets on their website www.puertoricoferry.com/ But you need to keep checking daily since they sold out fairly quickly. You can also rent a small golf cart or jeeps(the most popular mode of transportation on the island) There are also flights from the mainland to Culebra, but they are more expensive. Hope you have a wonderful time while visiting!

Hi! Regarding Covid regulations, you will need either: be fully vaccinated or
Everyone over 2 years old who is not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with the Moderna, Pfizer or Janssen vaccines, must provide evidence of a negative molecular or antigen test for COVID-19 performed within the 72-hour period prior to your arrival to Puerto Rico. Any passenger arriving without a PCR test result for COVID-19 will be assessed a $300 fine. However, this will be waived if the traveler presents the test or evidence that a test was performed within 48 hours of arrival. Before you get to the island, you have to upload the vaccine card or covid test to a web site (www.travelsafe.pr.gov) and show the generated barcode when leaving the airport. There's a mask mandate and several restaurants and places requieres ppl to be vaccinated in order to go in.
There's also a Laboratory inside the Airport that are offering Covid tests for I think 120 dollars or so..
The best advice for divers swimmers don't touch anything .
Some of the things Bite others are poisonus and well it's not worth the risk , don't touch things in the water , just view it all .

Everything else is great! Very happy information. I am going to Culebra soon. This is not the best season but it is what it is. I would like to do hop on hop off tour since I have only 8 hr on the 🏝. Anything nice to see 'downtown' area? Is it easy to drive a golf cart from the ferry terminal to Z Beach?

Hi! I don't know if you would see them in Culebra. Maybe! There is a beach in Vega Baja, Balneario de Puerto Nuevo, where 3 turtles live year round.

Yes, swim all the way to the left to the far corner of the swimming area ropes. Then swim along the far swimming area border rope, paying special attention to grassy áreas. Finding grass is key to finding turtles!
terrible weather and lighting
Yes, sadly, that's the reality of living in a tropical island, you can experience a beautiful sunny morning and minutes later, huge clouds don't agree with your plans. But we try to show the reality of traveling, not every day is going to be sunny, yet. You can enjoy and be amazed by nature. I made another short video with better drone footage and lighting from a trip 2 months later.

I don't think so. You can find taxis/shared shuttles at the ferry terminals.
