I love you Steve! I saw the "Iron Opera" show on PBS and I immediately said "this guy is from Palo - I could tell from your dialect immediately. I grew up in Biwabik and I know my Finlanders. I went to many Laiskianinens growing up, took saunas every Sunday at my grandparents and at the cabin and listening to the Bobby Aro Polka Show and the Chimieleski Fun Time - even though I'm not Finnish . You have a wonderful voice and are fantastically talented. Don't wait for someone to recognize you! Get an agent and show off your talents to the world! You are a gift! You hold the nostalgia of the Iron Range heritage beautifully and it warms my heart to reminisce. Thank you for taking me back to my roots. Can't wait to share this with my relatives far away!
I missed another sauna opportunity. Here is my sauna and if you want to screenshot a picture of it for a future sauna video, feel free!! ua-cam.com/video/EG2Biis8KDg/v-deo.html
John Koski Good ol days! A sauna is like a time travel device in your mind. Whenever I'm in one I feel as if I can talk to myself, future and past, from sauna nights throughout my life's timeline 😄 It's a miraculous invention.
YouSuck 21 Some people aren't meant for nature and peace. Sure towns and cities have pros and cons. I grew up there and I love it. 🤟🏼 I love getting to visit after gigging in cities. So peaceful, the contrast.
My favorite from Mr. Solkela.
Great song! Has a lot of heart in it.
One of my favorites.
Your music always makes me smile. I grew up in Gilbert and I have always felt the same way about Gilbert as you do about Palo.
☺️ Happy to hear that!
Nice!!! I have also had some good times in Palo with family and only a half hour away from Mountain Iron 👍😀
Really great vocal note choice to resolve at 2:59. And nice melodies throughout. Piano was the perfect instrument for this one.
Thanks 😁 This is a sentimental one for a lot of folks up here.

☺️ Thank you my friend. It's been a lot of work. But it's worth it.
From one Ranger to another, you make us proud! Keep doing what you're doing!!! Smiles coming your way!!!
I love your voice
Thanks much!!!
Never grow up.
Good job on all the videos.
I was wondering what town you were from, now I know!
