- Reviewing my scent of the day, the 2016 release, L'Insoumis from the house of Lalique. Very unique rum note over the top of a traditional fougere body makes this a modern classic for me. Green and herbaceous with a tinge of booze makes for a great fun day time fragrance but its also inoffensive and great for office wear and school/university classroom settings.

Such a fan of this one. As I've said many times, on me it's what Sauvage would've been had it been made by Tom Ford. It does what I liked about the Sauvage EDT without the ambroxan megaphone that I didn't love - that clearwood note being one that much better agrees with my chemistry, and with that amped patchouli which would be TF watermark 😁. I actually wore Sauvage EDT for a bit before I smelled this one and I haven't worn it since.

I didn't wait until spring to spray some juice on me, over this past weekend I was off and lounging and I put some on linsoumis, smells great 👍

🙏 Have u tried Houbigant DV Duke Deverins ? It's awesome smelling shave cream cologne and really green.
Unfortunately not yet but its on my short list to get my nose on. That as well as the Fougere Royale by the same house will likely try to get both of those soon!
this is also compared to kilian straight to heaven weirdly or tf fougere d'argent. Any thoughts?
Unfortunately haven't tried either of those, although they both are definitely on my radar. Likely would pick up or sample the TF before the Kilian but sadly can't compare this to either of those yet. .
I have these 3 , and liké straight to heaven a lot , l'insoumis smell nothing liké STH . More on thé fougère d'argent style but wayyy more modern . Vert nice frag
