Actually, it's not too hard to implement given its Unreal Engine. The map loading times might be an issue as right now it is synced for all players, but I think that can be solved by insta loading into the revolve preview map for players for who it has been loaded into memory, and continue to revolve until all players have loaded it. Only after all players have it loaded and the map preview with name UI animation is done then move to the agent select - only change I would make here is keep the agent select environment actually in the map (not in the spawns, but maybe a neutral open place within the map or a specially made area of the map to ensure secrecy of attack/defense side before agent select). The agent select is great. Some agents with custom VFX like omen, chamber, kayo, and deadlock might have to be readjusted to fit this. Post agent confirmation, then dolly the camera out to revolve one last time and reveal defense ot attack and then dolly in to that side's spawn into the player's position.

If only riot could actually implement this in the game, it'd make the waiting more exciting instead of staring at a screen of emptiness
Looks great but i think the map rotation thingdefeats the whole purpose of the loading screen since its to load the maps for all players

here's what i'm thinking, instead of the camera continuously revolving around the map, how about a slow steady movement that goes into the map; and how about a more wide shot for the agent selection screen.
either way, this is really sick i love it.

The spinning around the map is a cool idea but I think if I would have to look at it for a long time I would get sick, I already felt a little sick looking at this and imagine you have one of these matches where it takes soo long to load. Maybe the spinning could be at the beginning and then stop after a while idk. But very cool

If this game was made 10 years ago when HDD was still standard, the spinning load up and map title scroll for agent select would be alright; but because everything needs to be a bit more snappy, while conveying the information.
Especially when you start thinking about people dodging, having to sit through that screen 4 times in a row would make people complain.
It certainly is cool and worth making (assuming its optimized). Similar vibes to that sick MVP screen on valorant mobile. Riot rlly need to add more spice and flavour to the PC game imo

The agent select screen should be map themed according to what map has been selected. The tiny writing at the top is sometimes completely gone by with some selection animations

Honestly. Would've been better where it transitions from 'match found' to The globe rotating to the location. When everyone loads it. The camera flies around the location and then heads to the area with the teleporter/helicarrier where; on the teleporter it shows, someone jumping out when a player choses their valorant. And same for the Helicarrier.
i think it would be better if the platform would be like some kind of heli carrier like in avengers

Im sad they didnt make any better animations for agents and map quality, as well as skins and other stuff because they had to keep everything for low specs, that was their main focus when they announced the game...
the agent seleciton screen is epic although i bet what they would need to do is build another set so the camera can fly through the entrance into the yard where you select the agents otherwise actual perfection
also the map loading thing would probably require preloading all maps which is not always possible so they might have to use a seperate set or they might have epic parts of the map just plop in to show that its "loading"
maybe they can use pre recorded and pre rendered sequences for all the maps, and simply fade into the agent select set

A lot of the maps would have to be "reworked" because their optimized to be viewed from certain angles. Also they could use static animations for team agents since select animations look awkward without the camera.
