'Is mutation purely a psychological happening?'
    ---
This channel is managed by the Krishnamurti Foundation Trust, UK, and by the Krishnamurti Foundation of America.
The role of the foundations was described by Krishnamurti when he said, 'The foundations will see to it that these teachings are kept whole, are not distorted, are not made corrupt. They will not give rise to any sectarian spirit in their activities... nor create any kind of place of worship around the teachings or the person.'
We maintain extensive archives of Krishnamurti's original works and all four Krishnamurti foundations are actively engaged in the publication of material in various forms.
Our videos contain thousands of subtitles in more than 25 languages, translated by volunteers from all over the world. If you would like to help us with translating subtitles, please contact us at digital@kfoundation.org

    K. keeps saying the experiencer is the experience. The thinker is the thought, the thinker is not separate from his thought. For me I identify with pure sentience rather than the emotions and thoughts that my brain produces, so I never quite understand this concept he has. I am not attached permanently to my emotions and thoughts, they exist as an annoyance usually. I don’t understand how I could ever say I am this or that emotion or thought. I am just a joke really, even though there are brain patterns that keep me stuck in an identity, and I take myself seriously on a fairly regular basis, I still would never say that I am the thought or emotion. It seems ridiculous to me to say that. I am only awareness, and even then perhaps not. Could anyone please help clarify what he is saying. I really wish I could talk to K. about this. It comes up in his teaching over and over, and seems to be one of his most central concepts, however it doesn’t seem logical to me at all. Maybe I just completely misunderstand him, or am in complete delusion.

keep listening to him and things will unfold by it self. You exit as an idea only in a scheme of reality. It is one substance ( single unit ) not two ( I and that ) so therefor doer ship is futile.

You can only be aware. Wahatever it may be, pleasure, pain, anger, sorrow etc, you can only be aware. In K's words ' choiceless awareness'.

Say you become angry. At the very moment of anger there's this adrenaline rush, 1 second later thought intrudes and creates a division and says, "I have become angry." Thought has created a division, and division leads to conflict. You go into conflict because then you try to NOT be angry, you waste energy trying to move away from what is. Anyway, is the anger you, or are you separate from the anger? You are the anger itself, the experience. The anger looks separate the moment thought intrudes. If thought doesn't create a division and you're alert, you see that you and the experiences are not separate.

"The thinker is the thought." When you read that to yourself, what is saying that? You? The thought itself? Thought itself is saying that. When you say, "I am not my thoughts," thought itself it saying that too. There is no separate thinker as You, thought is aware of itself.
