I love how this could be easily modified for actual gambling/ D&D gambling, you could make your own cardboard cutouts fro different coins, (gold, silver, platinum etc) play like an actual gambling game where you can keep going as long as you put in more money
Me and my buddies started our own DnD campaing and this game became such a meme in our campaign that me and my buddy who were just joking about it are actually going to learn it so that when we arent in the area where our other buddies are, were going to play it
Thanks! I was really curious what this would look like irl so thank you for making this vid and explaining.
I bought a set of these to use for my 'Descent into Avernus' game when the players are in the 'Elf Song Tavern' and could actually play a game of cards while waiting for the next event to happen. Sadly lockdown happened here in the UK which put a stop to all of our table gaming :( The quality of the cards are great though and it's a good investment for any table game.
If the highest ante card is tied, that is what players pay to the stakes. THEN the next highest untied ante card is the first player.
Kind of a misleading explanation of the rules.
The ante card is the beginning of your flight for that round and is part of it, other cards might remove them from play and with them the power they add to your flight.
Is this a fun game to play with two players or do you need to have a larger group? I ask because I'd want to play it more often than the limited times my D&D group gets together and outside of that group I mostly play games two players.
yes - this is definitely more of a fun game with a group...any game like this generally is. However, it's a good fun 2-player game as well and moves pretty fast.
Works great with two players 👍
How do you put all those tokens back in the box? They don't fit well at all.
I put the tokens in a little plastic bag and flatten them out. I can get it all back in and the lid shuts all the way down.
Great game indeed
Seems complicated actually. Maybe if I played a few rounds I guess.
It seems like YOU understand how to play it.
Thanks anyway..
Weak
Playing EXAMPLE
Omg you talk so much before the actual rules I already lost focus when you start explaining the rules
