Lol, when you started water coloring with the inks, your voice got soft and whispery like Bob Ross. You’re truly the Bob Ross of card making. Love it! Lol
I love both cards. The beautiful simplicity of the water color one… the magic of emboss resist on the second one. Your ink blending on the second one glows at the bottom! Thanks for sharing! 😊❤️
When tapping off your brushes you can tap off on your glass mat or waffle flower mat so you can pick the ink back up when you need more, wasting less ink. Beautiful cards!
Ohmagosh Cathy, both cards are beautiful! However, I am drawn to the second one. My favorite Christmas pallet i(at least this year) is blue, white and silver.
Such simple cards but oh so beautiful. I love it so much. Thanks for sharing Cathy. A person can use any colours and any sentiments. Love them. I had to change my handle on my you tube as some person started creeping me. I have been with you a long time. Lol
So simple and stunning! I love them both! But I was definitely talking to you while you were trying to put those sequins on: "Over there! No, one over! Up higher!! Uh oh!!" And, still, even though you couldn't hear me, it turned out well in the end! Imagine!
Beautiful cards and awesome colors. I unplugged Alexa a couple of years ago because she kept answering questions that I hadn't asked. I don't like people snooping on me!
Pretty cards. Love the colors and the clear sequins are wonderful for a little something. Alexa freaks me out sometimes as well when she starts talking!
Boop, boop hooray for those beautiful cards... the colours are right up my alley 💜 How do you manage not to get dark nail polish strips (rub off) on your card stock? I never wear nail polish when I have to sign school certificates to avoid those streaks on the documents.
You're seriously fancy cards are very cool 😎. To boop or not to boop? If you know you know! Thanks for the share. Look forward to your next card sesh 👉
Love watching you make cards. You are a great teacher. I just bought the purple and now I have all 3 colors you used. Can't wait to make cards now. Thank you
Inspiring-indeed! I just got the villainous color and now have all three. They do look great together. Gives me some ideas for a card. Thanks Cathy 😊❄️
You could totally do it with warm tones, but… red and green don't mix well simply based on color theory and proximity. Maybe you could put a yellow between them? Or go red, into a lighter green, then into a darker?
Beautiful cards, Cathy. Might become my newest favorite winter colors. Yes, the first one looks like the U.S. mainland. Alexa drives us nuts too…especially when she starts singing “Thanks for saying ‘I love You!’” 🎶🎵
I love the color palette that you chose. The cards are really cool. Pun intended. I liked them just as well without the bling, but your boops just crack me up. Thanks for making me giggle.
I love your cards and you inspire me to always just have fun when making them. This may be a dumb question but where did you buy your color wheel? I like it because it’s big.
I love the colors you chose. Just gorgeous. Also your cards look simply lovely. Thank you for sharing your ideas with us. Thank you for sharing your ideas with us again. ⛄️🎄❄️🛷🎅🧑🍳🍪☕️🧣🧤
Thank you for sharing. Do you have to be pretty quick with the wiping because it dries too quickly? Would it be the same if you were using oxides? Or could you wait until you were completely done?
I try to wipe quickly. They don't dry as fast as a regular old fashioned dye ink, but they do dry faster than oxides. I just get into the habit of wiping as I go!
So I have limited space, and am trying to budget myself. My next craft investment is ink. I have a bunch of dye ink cubes in various colors, but I'm looking to step it up. Would you recommend going for the oxides, or dye inks? OR is it better to do both and just get your commonly used colors in each instead? I notice that you use both, so I figure you might be able to guide me here (especially as I am in a craft-slash-corner of a guest room). Thanks for any advice!
I think it's best to just get your favorite colors and not worry about having them all in every formula if that makes sense. It's nice to have a few oxides in your favorite colors to see how they work and what you think of them but you certainly don't need to have all of them you know?
Incredibly beautiful cards. I live these three colors together and haven't seen anything with them all I didn't love. I am a winter color girl. Gorgeous Cathy
These turned out so pretty! I’m liking the cool tones for Christmas. Reds, greens and golds are pretty, but it’s always nice to switch things up. I really needed this inspiration for some “assembly line” cards with the streamline designs. You always come through for us! Thank you!
So cute that I was watching a craft and chat with Gina k and Jennifer McGuire and your name popped up in conversation. It’s a small crafting world, isn’t it!
Lol, when you started water coloring with the inks, your voice got soft and whispery like Bob Ross. You’re truly the Bob Ross of card making. Love it! Lol
Wow, thank you!
@@czdesign 🥰
That is hilarious Cathy! 30 seconds before you said it looks like the US, I thought the exact same thing as you were placing the bling on the panel 😂
So did i!!!
I love this 'cool' color combo! Gorgeous cards. I think I like tap, tap, tap as much as the boops.
I love both cards. The beautiful simplicity of the water color one… the magic of emboss resist on the second one. Your ink blending on the second one glows at the bottom! Thanks for sharing! 😊❤️
Thank you so much!
The embossing resist technique is amazing! 😍
Inking the sentiment is rather brilliant! Why haven’t I thought of that before! It’s lovely
That second card is sooooooooooo pretty!
Cool 😎 cards! Those colors work so well together. Thank you for sharing 😊😊
I love these cards... I'm going to try this cool analogous colour scheme for a holiday card!
Crazy about these 3 colors together! Love how the cards turned out. I could watch your videos all day! 🩵💙💜

I love this color pallet Cathy!!!! Your cards are gorgeous!!!
A tip: If you want more intense colours when painting with your distress inks, use the refills if you have them... 🙂
Ohhhh yeah. Never think to do that!
Kristina Werner just did a video using her reinkers to watercolor. So pretty!
Ooh, good idea!
Such pretty, cheerful cards. I love when sentiments come with coordinating dies.
Hit another one out of the park!! Beautiful and simple. Love the colors.
Thanks so much 😊
The tones are so pretty!
They look great. You do a great job. I’m learning as I watch you.
When tapping off your brushes you can tap off on your glass mat or waffle flower mat so you can pick the ink back up when you need more, wasting less ink. Beautiful cards!
That is a great idea! I need to use the mats i have more!
I do love the colors. Winter wonderfulness! 😊
Thank you! Cheers!
Lovely choice of analogous colors, lovely cards....

Ohmagosh Cathy, both cards are beautiful! However, I am drawn to the second one. My favorite Christmas pallet i(at least this year) is blue, white and silver.
I was blue today, missing myAngel. So, I thought I would end my day with the heartwarming sounds of the Boop Lady. Thank youCazinske
Hugs to you Deb.

I like the idea and would try it with other stamps.
Hi Cathy, what a great way to use that large rubber stamp in the Misti. Makes a lot of sense.

Beautiful cards! My husband was sitting on the couch the other day and out of no where starts saying...boop. Not sure where he heard that from. 😁
hahahah!
Great color combination.

Same. It's weird. And freaky.
Pretty cards. Love the colors and the clear sequins are wonderful for a little something. Alexa freaks me out sometimes as well when she starts talking!

Simple but a very effective design. Thank you
Always love your cards Cathy!
Could you do one with warm tones ? or how to use red and green together so they do not turn out muddy
