- Welcome to this English lesson about sickness and illness. In this English lesson I will help you learn English words and phrases associated with sickness and illness. As you probably know too well, we get sick every once in a while. As a matter of fact, I was just sick for the last few days.
Whether you are currently sick, or you have recovered, it is nice to know how to talk about being sick in English.
In this English lesson I'll help you learn English words and phrases like: sickness, feeling under the weather, treatment, stomachache, to vomit, to have the runs, cough, sore throat, stuffed up nose, and more!

Hello, Bob! The most interesting things are the examples with verbs, not separate words. I often try to use verbs from my mother tongue instead of the ones I should. e.g. to have a throw up
