"Fraise" is french for "erdbeere", it's only a common name in Lebanon; but it's unanimously known in Arabic as "farā-wila", coming from the Greek name "φράουλα".
As you may know, guinea pigs are not native to Arabia and were probably not encountered before by Arabs; even I didn't know it's name in Arabic! My humble advice is to disregard things outside our culture when learning Arabic, since it wouldn't be useful in communicating with us. Leaving unconventional words in any aspect would maximise the benefit by focusing on fewer, more common things.
For that I don't recommend this app.
I admire your dedication, your pronunciation is nearly perfect, the letter حاء is hard for foreigners to pronounce, they usually pronounce it as a خاء; if you put your mind to it, I know you would nail it.
    Wish you the best.

      فريز is North Levantine
Not unique to Lebanon. Pretty much used by most Syrians.

Thank you so much! 🥰☺️ and yes, the حاء is my biggest problem 😂

I can't argue with that, due to french colonialism in most of the Levant; I'm not going to be surprised by your statement.
Did you know that in northern coastal areas of Morocco the name "fresa" is common from Spanish? And Palestinians call it (farā-wila), as well as a friend I know from Damascus, Syria.
Anyway, that's beside the point I'm making; the app isn't using the most common Arabic things or their most common names.
Where are you from? May I ask.

Nothing to thank me for! I understand that difficulty, you don't have that sound in your language, you may have it in some kind of an interjection but you're not able to link them up. All I know is that you'll make it happen.
You can start first by vocalising هاء sound continuously, then try to tighten the gap in the throat to make pressure on the exiting air at that point rather than just blowing air from your mouth saying هاء.

@@Abulqaswara Yeah I'm not arguing your point, I'm just clarifying the extent of Fraise usage.
And I'm from Aleppo. We use فريز here, and the older version was çilek from Turkish.

If you want to learn an easy colloquial Arabic dialect, you should learn the Egyptian dialect 🇪🇬 because it is the easiest and also the most used in the Arab world and the most widespread among the Arab countries through Egyptian art 🎥🎬🇪🇬 and Egyptian drama and cinema. Also, thank you for your wonderful content. Keep going 🙏
