How To (Quickly) Go To The Top Row Or First Column Of A Worksheet Without Scrolling In Excel

In this video we discuss how to quickly go to the top row or first column of a worksheet in excel. We go through examples going to cell A1, and row 1 and column A

Lets say that you are way over and down in a worksheet and you want to go to the first row and first column of the sheet, cell A1. To do this, hold down the control key and hit the home key, and we are now in cell A1.
From the same situation, if you want to go to the first column, column A in the same row, row 50 in this example, just hit the home key, and now we are in cell A50.
And from the same situation, if you want to go up to the top row, row 1 of the same column, hold down the control key and hit the up arrow key on the keyboard, and this will take you to the top row that has data in it. If there are some empty cells, as you see here, you will have to do this a few times.
