It's been nearly 4 Years Since The Walking Dead Telltale Game ended with Take Us Back. In today's video, I update you on Telltale Games and Skybound Games and the potential next batch of Walking Dead Games coming! In this short I discuss the news that Telltale Games has just announced they received 8 million dollars in funding from Skybound and Hiro Capital to help release The Expanse and support the development of The Wolf Among Us 2 along with an unannounced title! Could we see "The Walking Dead Season 5" starring either Clementine or AJ - Could we see a new playable character in a new twd game - S4 had an open ending for a sequel starring Clementine or Aj or even a dlc/spinoff. Will Skybound continue with it The Walking Dead game is getting something new hopefully in the future from Skybound Games or Telltale Games. 2000 LIkes?

If they make a new TWD game, I highly doubt it’ll involve Clementine. I could see them continuing Javier’s story or maybe even continue AJ’s story. Or they could create a whole new cast of characters which I honestly wouldn’t mind since I just really want another TWD game by Telltale.
Maybe clem dies would be a pretty good shock and continue AJs story
The last one was called the final season so if they do do another game it would be a bit weird to continue with clems story although I would like for them to carry on with her story
If they continue AJ’s story then it’ll definitely involve Clementine.
They could probably work on some side characters from the comics too

I mean i can understand people want something else but im not for season 5 it shouldnt even be a thought i mean the last game was titled “The Final Season” you cant do any more than that. Just let to story be the way it is and i do agree that clems story is complete but im pretty sure Javi is dead though from what i have heard. It would be understandable if they ignored season 4 being called the final season because the reason it’s called that is that Telltale games was dying. It would be even cooler if they named season five something like “Back From the Dead” lol. (They could probably come up with a way better name)

I don't know about everyone else, but I've always wanted another game with Javier in it. Even if they continue with Clem or AJ as the main character some day, it would be dope to see Javi again.

@@fumetsu-950 Easy, Remember 400 days how each of the 5 characters had their own mini episode? A 10-20 minute mini ep could totally work for lee. Show his relationship with wife, family, the man he killed, his arrest, maybe him at his teaching job? you're right it wouldnt have much twd elements since its all before the outbreak.
Heck thinking about it if they really wanted they could do a full 400 days type ep with 5 backstories of various characters, Kenny, Lilly/Larry, etc. Each wouldnt work as a full 2 hour episode, or a own game, but some short smaller story possibly

I can literally not decide if i want a third game season of Batman telltale the most or The Walking Dead game season 5. I loved both games, each and every season of both so it's pretty hard to hope for just one. I literally can't get disappointed if it's any of them.👏
And say if it is one of them, we want the other one too, down the line. When I mean down the line, I mean within the next year or 2. PLEASE!! I also love both games. they were both amazing games however id rather choose twd, the show finished and we barely get any twd content anymore, however with batman we get content for it 24/7 and is still popular to this day

Doubt it. The fans didn't like the season and the writers messed it up. Not possible to repair. It's mentioned a few times Richmond is involved in a war. Which means that Javi isn't in control anymore or developed away from being this friendly guy that just wants to protect family

Clementine's story is perfect I hope they leave her alone.
In comics about her, She left Ericson school without AJ (he stayed there) because she couldn't raise him and it is not what she want to. But I know english not very well to discribe all stuff from comics so I can just say it would be intersting to see her with new people in a new place goin' through more difficult situations. So yeah, they can make a new great drama. I don't know about the others, but I have no interest to play for AJ, it would be a mess to see how another kid raises in apocalypse like in S1-S2 on repeat, I want smth new but with old character. And yeah, it is my own opinion.

@@RampantBasilisk I think Clem is the first character that can always develop and not to bother fans of this game, but even If they end her story in school it is not bad, because she found her peace and family she needs, if we consider that there are no another enemies after delta's death. I think skybound can restart the whole story after they bought this game, like it is happened with CoD MW and it did not bad as we could expect. And I know there is not so many people that like Garcia's story, but I don't mind if they will tell us more about Richmond after A new frontier has gone away and Javi became a leader of this group.

I find bringing back clem is more likely bringing back painful memories. She already found her home, group to care about, and AJ.
Bringing her back will only either kill her or give her tremendous plot armour.
On the other note, remake GoT series. With HoTD and main tv series finished. If they remake it to the book universe, it could be a hit.
TWD I feel still has a lot of loose ends that can be tied up. Molly, Christa, Javi , I would even love to see AJ grown up. Hopefully they expand.

I think it ended fine. If they do, I hope they would let her take AJ to her house and show where it all started. Honestly, it ended fine. I don’t want her story milked where I end up getting bored. New characters, or show Kenny after the events of Ben and how he escaped savanna, leading up to the events of season 2.
New characters with a new story from the beginning of the apocalypse would be my favorite, though. I just love playing from the beginning of when shit hits the fan and seeing how characters evolve and work together or fall apart.

If they make another TWD I think they are likely to do what they did with New Frontier and would probably be for the best to not over explode the storyline with Clementine, especially since her last games it's called "the final season" so it would be cool to get a new character but have cameos and appearances of the ones from previous games. I also want to see the purple house!

As much as I want to see more of Clem, it just can't be allowed to happen. We got a happily-ever-after type of ending that we, the audience, and the characters all deserved, especially Clem.
What we need from the Walking Dead universe is to finish Javier's story. The whole Javier story was barely even mentioned by Clem in the final season and we gotta finish it off. We need to know wtf happened after investing an entire season's worth of gameplay into Javier.
It wouldn't be a bad idea if Clem came back at the end of this new Javier season, where she and AJ return to Richmond or Javier finds them and Clem takes him up on his offer to be taught how to play baseball. That'd have to only be the closing scene though. Anything more would be too much.
I don’t think it makes sense to think Clem doesn’t have a million other trials and enemies to face; after all every single of the communities she’s been to, even the ones which should be far safer, has collapsed. I think we should’ve atleast got to see her become an adult, we the fans deserve that since she’s our kid, and we should get to see our little girl become a grown woman.
However even if the ending seemed premature and romanticised I’m still okay with her story being her living happily ever after there. I love her, and god knows no one is more deserving of a peaceful life than that little girl

Honestly, as much as I would LOVE another TWD telltale game, I'm content if we don't get one.
I recently played through all the telltale walking dead games, and I think the story was phenomenal.
Would I love to see Clementine or AJ again? Absolutely. I love those characters and have grown quite attached to them (due to telltale's incredible ability to get me invested in a story). But do I think it's a necessity or that they ended on some cliff-hanger that we NEED to resolve? Would I be devastated if we never got another TWD telltale game? No.
I think the story of Clem and AJ was told nicely, had a good conclusion and if we never got another game with them, I'd be okay with it.
Instead of Season 5, this would be the perfect time to work on an expansive remake of The Walking Dead & add in new content while refuebishing the graphics to today's resolution.
With that much money, they can make that happen. 💯

I super hope it's TWDG continueing AJ and Clementines story. I know that season 4 ended pretty neatly, but at some point civilization won't need to worry about walkers as they get killed and run out. People will build cities and towns again and maybe it could be Clementine as the new leader of Texas 2(or whatever it ended up being named in your gameplay) having a bite sweet confrontation with another nearby group of people. Perhaps near the valley previously mentioned the only road led too. Or it could even be the group trying to expand(or even take a vacation) to the valley, Clem could get a peg leg and so on.

Clem's story finished with The Final Season. There's nothing else that can be told (Sorry Tillie, your books aren't canon).
I would love to see more TWD, but with different characters and background. I'd like to think that they would be brave and focus on another part of the world... TWD in the UK for example? Or a spinoff of the Typhoon story perhaps?

I think season 5 would have alot of potential... there were a handful of plot holes I dont think were ever discussed... The fate of Christa... it's implied she died but we never see it. What happened to Molly? Bonnie and Mike? Did the Garcia's survive the battle at richmond? Vernon's group? we see a couple of them in Michonne (or was it 500 days?) but the fate of Vernon specifically I dont think was ever shown.
if they do another twd, there's a pretty good chance either clem will die in the beginning or maybe left at their camp while AJ leaves on his own for some reason. that's my guess
