Just watched this after buying a Sennheiser MKE 600 following a lot of deliberation between it and the Rode NTG 4. Stunned to hear here just how much more I prefer the MKE 600. It comes over as another level entirely. I was definitely already delighted with it but thought would give this a watch to see the difference and its considerable.
@@NOlimitsON Wow, well my knowledge on the subject is close to zero so that makes me feel my research was sound! One question I do have, if you have a moment, when using the MKE 600 with my camera for video be it indoors of outdoors for nature (but on camera/close to camera) is it better (does it make a difference) if I use the supplied XLR to 3.5mm jack straight into the camera (using the cameras probably basic pre amp - I am assuming that's what happens - light on knowledge here!) or where possible will I see a benefit connecting the MKE 600 via XLR straight into my TASCAM Portacapture X8 XLR port?
