Hey everyone and welcome back to my channel. To make this top you will need a weight 3 yarn, a 4 mm crochet hook and a 5 mm crochet hook.

I love this pattern, just wanted to “warn” anyone else who wanted to use cotton yarn for this top (it is more breathable and better for crocheted summer wear imo, synthetic yarns are too warm for summer clothing). Cotton yarn has virtually no stretch, I had to alter the pattern a lot to make something that would fit me. Great pattern and the top itself is great!
cotton has a lot of give when it gets wet or you sweat so make it a bit snug
did it use up a lot of yarn to make?
@@tingyi5292 not really, like 4 Lily’s cotton skeins?? The project is retired and I’m never gonna wear it, but that’s what I’m remembering.

Beautiful! Love how the stitches are easy and the texture they create looks amazing. The ribbing gives it a very elegant touch. Well done, Carrie!
Love this pattern, it’s so much easier than it looks!
I followed direction for the medium size but used a 5mm and 6.5mm instead of the 4 & 5 because my yarn was a medium weight. Love the look, love the fit, but I do intend to remake it in the future to spread out the decreases and give myself a little more coverage on the sides just to customize the fit. It’s not uncomfortable as is, it just limits my bra choices a little.
Overall it’s a great little tank/ muscle shirt look and it’ll be great for summer layering :”3

I just found this pattern and I've made 2 and working on a 3rd one now. My daughter has worn them a lot so far. I'm making them in so many different colors for her for spring and summer.

made this in white! on the decrease rows, i decreased every other row instead for more coverage (wider neckline). thank you for the tutorial. it was so much fun to make

I just finished my top but i modified the pattern a bit so instead of single crochet i did half double crochet except on the ribbing and then for the straps i just made one and turned it into a halter either way this is still my favorite top tutorial
How do you make the strap into halter please teach me!’nn

I taught myself to read a pattern years ago. There was no UA-cam. It's really not that difficult. I'm glad UA-cam exists now to help other's learn. I enjoy learning by watching as well. I learn something new by watching too.🌹

Thanks , you explain every thing so clearly. I want to make a kind of camisole using very thin yarn ( I have a #1 yarn ). I want to wear it under my other crochet tops. Just wide enough to cover the bra. I'll use this pattern , but make the front lower. I am exited to start that project.

Beautiful top!! I made this for my daughter, I used a 100% cotton yarn by Circulo, called Charme. I notice that it loses its form at the bottom ribbing when she pulls over her head to wear it, it later gets back into form. Also, the shoulder straps keep stretching. I have had to adjust twice by shortening the length. Any suggestions on what yarn to use that will remain shape and not stretch at the shoulder straps? Thank you, I intend to crochet this top again but with a different yarn. I need suggestions.
