The best G6PD lecture I have ever seen. Just be sure to watch at 1.25 speed
Fair enough...Thanks a ton 😊
That’s hilarious 😂. It was already a great presentation, but that suggestion made it even better for me, especially when I refer back to it.
×1.75 here
1.5x for me
Too late
I think your speed is excellent.
Most of your followers are not native English speakers.
You are not boring at all.
Your accent is really cute and digestible

Why was the NADPH reduced from NADP+ not reduce O2 in the blood cell but reduce GSSG? Is it because the O2 is bound to the heme group while the GSSG isnt?
You are great thanks a lot

This is by far the best lecture I've seen on G6PD. Now I can go on to understand the deficiency with ease. 7star rating for me🤝.
Thank you so much!
so in that g6pd deficiency the glutathione is in redued formed
Best lecture
Thank you 🙏
Amazing

Thank you so much 😊
My exam is after couple of hours and here I am studying from your videos
As always amazing explanation, and I since you said you’re Egyptian in the other video I don’t know if you understand Arabic or not but
شكرا جزيلا
You’re a lifesaver!
this is the most annoying, yet most memorable tutorial i've ever watched
I think that’s fair 😁😁 ...I am ok with anything that stimulates your hippocampus and make you remember it on your exam.
You're my hero
Thanks 🙏
Thanks for raising IQs of doctors.
Haha 😂

my g6pd level is 36. normal range 6 - 20. anything wrong ?
NADH not NADPH for the reduction of methemoglobin
Thank u for the explanation
Amazing! One of the best lecturer!
Medicosis perfectionalis. Do u have video for jaundice? Thank you!
Coming soon!
@@MedicosisPerfectionalis yaaay! Thank you!
Hello, thank you for the video it's very helpfull. But I have a question ; what is the meaning of "in ETC" when you talk about oxygen ? Thanks
Electron Transport Chain.
@@MedicosisPerfectionalis Thank you
You’re amazing
Thank you 🙏
It is NADH not NADPH that reduce the ferric iron back to ferrus and it has no thing to do with G6PD becuase NADH is a product of EMP glycolysis not pentose hexose monohosphate shumt
And only a very small fraction of methhaemoglobulin is reduced normally by NADPH thriugh the shunt while that plays a more important rule in the treatment of methaemoglubulin patients with methylen blue which is contraindicated if patient having G6PD deficiency too .
I swear to god you are better than my professor
Thank you so much 😊
Hey medicosis, I'm confused. The normal Hb has Fe2+ and the met Hb has Fe3+ ?
I read online that it's the opposite
Normal hemoglobin is Fe2+…
Methemoglobin is Fe3+.
I love you Man ❤️
Thank you 🙏
Could you please create a video on the topic of medicinal chemistry? Thank you.
Can you give me more details?
Medicosis: that's why G6PD...
Me: ... IS A BIIIIIIIIIIIG DEAL

What parameter is being measured here? and what’s the measuring unit?
Hi! Are you left handed? Because from the way you write, it seems like it. Just curious :) I love your videos, take care :)
Nope!
Right handed
Why patient with G6pd sign and symptom wore during night ?
???
@@MedicosisPerfectionalis
Exacerbated during night ?
The narrator keeps repeating that there is no NADPH without G6PD. However, it’s my understanding that H6PD also makes NADPH everywhere except in red blood cells (ethrocytes). Could the author or anyone else elucidate?
I AM G6PD DEFICIENT! I ALSO HAVE SCD TRAIT! WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR ME?
Paano malalaman kung sakali nka inom ng bawal tapos sa loob ng effect hindi sa labas.ano ang posibling maradaman nya?
Really? Are you for real?
Wished there was 3x speed
Nice and SIMPLE
Thanks!
