My experiences with Religious Trauma (so far)

Here's a little mini series on my experiences with Religion and Spirituality up to this point. In this video I discuss some of the religious trauma that led me to push away religion. Religious trauma comes in allll shapes and sizes. Slowly but surely we will be bridging the gap of separation and coming together in oneness.

I went from Corporate America to the world of spirituality (with crystals in pocket!) after a spiritual awakening. Follow me as I reflect on my journey and continue to navigate it into 2023 and beyond.

My mom's family is Catholic. I was baptized Methodist (there's a story why). When I was 15, I considered conforming to Catholicism. I did my research, and saw that it wasn't my vibe. That's when my spiritual journey officially started. I remember being a very little girl, running into the church looking for God, realizing he wasn't there, and was totally let down. My search for Source started at that point. I initially majored in psych, but then switched up to Sociology, to learn more about people as a whole. I already knew how people's minds worked. I explore different religions and spiritual practices for more than half my life. I know I'm here to help humanity, in some way. I'm figuring out our as I go. Love and light, Lana ✨✨✨ We have a lot of similarities in what we've gone though. I'm thankful for you ☺️☺️☺️

We really do have some serious similarities!!! How cool 😊 Also, I love what you say here about “he wasn’t there”. That is exactly how it feels as I reflect back now. Looking outside of us for something that was right there within us the whole damn time. I am so grateful for you as well and thank you for always sharing pieces of your story here too.
