    Big up to Limpopo Province for representing us 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦 KwaZulu Natal and Eastern Cape are also following this trend of building modern houses in the villages.

    Hihihi, I really like your reactions and facial expressions. This is just normal for us. And yes, evergreen. All the media shows is children with flies on their faces.
    The same house will cost you $95 Billion plus your kidney in Cape Town.
    The problem with Venda is that they are giving the rest of us pressure. Lol. We thank them for it! They also have the advantage of great landscapes (though many need a 4 x 4), like some other parts of the country that aren't so flat. We got farms, rural areas and villages, with unique characteristics. Limpopo is just a haven man, I'm working towards going back and it doesn't help that my fiance is a Venda man, lol.
    With regards to the bricks, we have all different types. For some home owners they prefer to hire people who actually manufacture the bricks from scratch, sometimes even on site and they are just as good. Sometimes within the village you'd have a manufacturer as well. Also, we source most of our material like sands and water at no cost (depending on where you're building) or a really low price. I think we should also appreciate the workmanship because it's household companies that build these structures.
    Many villages do not sell the land, they just ask for courtesy payment (mostly when you're not from there). Even the majority where you have to buy, it's still priced at close to nothing. Some owners buy multiple adjacent stands to build big. No rates, no levies, no taxes, no water charges. You only pay for electricity, unless you use solar and the likes. One also needs to understand that our provinces each have their own ways of operating, so it isn't at all homogenous, although generally similar.
    Also, with South Africans (I assume the case with all of Africa) have the pleasure of having homelands (places of birth) in the villages, so we have the luxury to work and stay in the city and also own homes in our homelands. Yeah so most of the homeowners are people who grew up in those villages. Some even build houses for their parents before their own.

    Nice!, and yep these are houses built by people themselves, I live in the place like this myself, we buy land for ourselves and build, mind you we do not even have proper infrastructure, but are moving forward, our municipality has not even built us proper tar roads, water comes in once or twice a week, you must make sure you have yours, own Jojo and Generator for electricity, but yah! Places like this do exist and they are black owned mostly.

    Very impressive to see these mansions being built by black owners all across the rural areas in South Africa. These are people who are wealthy enough to do so. Wish our government would build and give decent houses to the less fortunate black people who are currently living in shacks and give them their dignity back.

    In SA at least this houses in Limpopo are own by black people and they are not bought from the any state or any form of business selling houses, this leads to when the house owner dies nobody take their houses or kick the family out of the house, as in urban areas they do

      But black people own properties all across the country from all kind of settlements, what is the point in specifying this as if blacks only one properties in the rural area? Some of you are responsible for miss information about our country. Blacks own serious properties across the country, we are the richest blacks in Africa and the black wealth in this country is across the country nothing specific or special about our rurals

      Most black South Africans build beautiful houses in their villages in addition to owning houses in the surburbs or townships. When you buy a house in the township or surburb the house is owned by you and you can choose what happens to it when you die, if you don't do that like in all countries the laws of intestate succession kicks in.

    In SA we have 2 types of lands, we have the one belonging to the municipalities ( Government) and the other land belongs to Kings and/or Chiefs. Usually the lands belonging to Kings/ Chiefs are mostly fall under rural areas. Farm lands are mostly privately owned. Rural areas in SA are the villages, semi urban areas are townships, but some townships are more advanced to be called urban areas. Then we have urban areas, i.e suburbs, estates, towns, etc. We even have mini malls and shopping centres, sports parks in some villages

    • @mjayaurum9126
      @mjayaurum9126 Місяць тому

      and guess what? this DANC leadership will push for all government land which is the opposite of what we want,clever people wanted jobs but if those jobs comes they will come at a cost we need more land be municipality free at all cost but team privatization for the 1% is in power and cost of living will hike.

      That being said I don’t believe in these hierarchies of countries. It’s sad how the world wants to divide each other. when we can all learn from each other. There’s some things in SA that are better than USA and vice versa. We are all the global world 🤙🏾🤙🏾

Interest rates can be as high as about 8-11% and you know you can live well of just a fraction of interest earned.
