It’s so simple. It’s the president who has been entrusted with power to steer the affairs of government. And he takes the blame if his government fails.
He cannot shift any blame to Bawumia or the council of state, by saying he made certain decisions because Bawumia advised him.
So the president is his own man and not under any obligation to be bound by anyone’s advice
Those who are forcing Bawumia have suddenly forgotten his constitutional position and role as a VP
For the sake of political expediency, knowledgeable people have thrown away their depth of knowledge, and are pretending as if the VP has control over the president and can force his decisions on him
I’ve heard professors and people who have followed politics for long, suddenly thinking like foot-soldiers, by asking why Bawumia is not doing the things he says he will do, like removing the e-levy if voted for, as if Bawumia has got the power to do so now. It amazes me
They’ve suddenly forgotten Mahama was a full time president for 4yrs, but slept on the job. But they don’t have any problems with him for wanting to be given another chance. But have a problem with Bawumia for asking for the same opportunity, though he’s not been president like Mahama before.
And that’s how low we are becoming in our political arguments, just to score cheaper points against Bawumia.

They are suddenly comparing and equating a vice president to a former president, and it makes Bawumia such a powerful politician in this equation.
The former president is himself busily comparing his 4yr role to that of a VP.
And that’s how hypocritical most of Bawumia’s opponents have reduced themselves to… isn’t it PATHETIC?

It s pathetic because you see it to be so but you don't see it to be pathetic when the other tells you he shall move from taxation to production and does the opposite. When the statement was going "what an economic management team" and a chairman for that matter was pronounced we should go and blame someone else. How can Bawumia compare to Mahama who can sign a contract for $1.4bn for mobile money interoperability, yet Bawumia did same job for $4.5million. Felix, not all of us drink the Mahama forgetfulness potion. So we remember the abysmal govt is paying you and Mahama all the pecks including changing your cars every 4yrs. The abysmal govt paid the balance of the salaries of those teachers and nurses who your excellent govt paid for 3 months instead of 3yrs. The abysmal govt has got the lights on and finally, the same abysmal govt has paid the fees for 1,800,000 Ghanaian children to get free SHS. Felix should please learn to do proper comparison using same basis. He should compare JM as Vice president to Mills and Bawumia as Vice President to Nana Addo. What was the level of contribution of both when they were vice presidents? What were the corruption cases they got themselves involved in when they were Vice presidents. JM was investigated by his boss for corruption but can same be said about Bawumia?
