In Korean you have levels of formality. In the case of ~ㅂ니까? vs ~아/어요? ~ㅂ니까? is the honorific version of asking a question. You would typically use this form if you were talking to your elders, boss, etc. The ~아/어요 is the informal polite version and is the most common ending you hear people use in Korea
