i know i dont LEARN while i sleep, but hearing words that i already know often can really help with memory, even if its while your falling asleep. so thats the main reason i would recommend this.
I remember doing this along with a giant multiplication table during my 7th grade finale. Ahh the joys of being young and accidentally changing it to rushing water. I did not in fact pass that finale
@@Dillpickilled😂
A new study from Switzerland shows we can learn stuff from scratch in our sleep.
It should be yes hai yes hai yes hai
I tried again a week later and the video is interrupted by commercials wakes me up
this morning I woke up late and had to rush I wasn’t even able to eat breakfast properly I ran out of my house with a piece of toast in my mouth. 10/10 did work👍

Just relaxing to hear. Great voice actors. They articulate well.
People are arguing about whether or not you can actually learn in your sleep but that seems like a pointless discussion to me. I don’t think it’s a reliable way to learn but I don’t think that even matters. I don’t expect to actually wake up knowing 7 hours of Japanese. But I already like having something relaxing to listen to as I fall asleep, so may as well throw this on and maybe gain some familiarity with words and phrases til I doze off. If I somehow learn in my dreams then that’s just a bonus lol
Yes exactly, and Its the thought that counts. Also- I feel it helps in a way how a baby learns English or any language by- well merely just hearing it. it definitely helps with familiarity.
I also think it helps, kinda like how sometimes coma patients will wake up and know different languages than the one they originally knew, but listening to words like this would influence our minds m while we sleep and consume that knowledge while crafting some form of dream that would help us retain the knowledge.
They don't understand anything about how powerful the subconscious is that's why.
And you don’t always have to start at the beginning ;)
I mean I listen to multiple hours of Japanese during the day and Id say I don’t retain most of that, definitely not on the first run of it (my history is filled with multiple 4+ hour Japanese videos now that I listen to while I drive lol). I figure this isn’t gonna be more effective than that but expecting to retain anything you only hear once is unrealistic
Haha….I doubt anyone is sleeping with ads breaking the “ambient noises.” But I’m finding it useful at work, thanks.
Yeknow some people have premium...some.
@@ImNotLaughing9or they use adblocker ahaha
I know this doesnt actually work, but its at least semi-productive for review until i actually fall asleep, plus it's super relaxing

So what your opinion on it now? I’m curious
So it doesn’t work how they portray it. Becoming familiar with the words and then putting them on repeat throughout the night will help strengthen your long term memory of those words but you won’t just fall asleep and wake up speaking Japanese like they make it seem lol many people have claimed to study before bed and then put things like this on repeat and dream in those languages
@@Soyroohonestly don't do it while sleeping your brain isn't fully functioning to learn unless you are in a vivid dream and know you are dreaming. Its just better to listen to it in the morning as soon as you wake up. Japanese is hard so having something like this to listen to on repeat will improve your phrases and pronouncements of said words. Also repeating the words help you too. Also get flash cards and put phrases on them in Japanese and English so yes there isn't going to be exact wording but the context should be the same.
"I thought this didn’t work, but I tried it and I woke up as an anime character.

Omg, guys it works!
I used to sleep listening this for a week, and now I can watch anime without subs!
in the english dub? because it’s scientifically proven that it doesn’t work.
@@akaza3126 He's joking.
@looneyville3
it wasn’t obvious, how do you know for sure?
@akaza3126 nobody listening to this for a week can watch anime without subs even if they learned every phrase in the video.
@looneyville3
doesn’t mean that they aren’t lying.
Who is even learning while sleeping? On the other hand, this makes for a nice compilation of phrases which makes learning the language easier
It was on my way h later list and something else was also in that list, I fell asleep listening to it and 2hrn I got up, this was playing and I closed it up 😭
fr, like they cant expect someone to listen to this while sleeping and when they wake up, they instantly know japanese.

That's not realy what most people expect
@@Gr3yH0undW0lf true honestly
It doesn’t work unless you fall asleep.
I think this can work. I have listened to podcast in my sleep (playlist in the same order) and there are times where’d I’d hear the words from the podcast in my dream.
Interesting. A new study from Switzerland shows we can learn stuff from scratch in our sleep.
Thank you. Much appreciated.
This is the 8th night I have used this and I must say the more I hear these phrases the better I am at reconnising it now....speaking it is another story.....but I can hear these words and pick up on the meaning of the phrase and as some have commented before......in my dream I hear some of these phrases being spoken and I know what they mean......thank you !
this is very good for also when u r not sleeping. The voices make u remember better for some reason. I really want to learn Japanese and this will help me more ❤ new sub

Honestly, I've learned quite a few words in Japanese and I am almost ready to go to Japan. I recommend this for people who can't remember well, like me.
Thank you for the Japanese language lesson. It is very much appreciated.
Hasn’t this whole idea of sleep learning been disproven countless times.
Actually, it's possible. Our brains can do it, but not like the people sold this. You need know something about the language before so, yes, you can improve significantly your knowledge about a language sleeping (nothing like learn words instantly but it can help you to understand it more easily than before). It can help, but not too much. So keep studying is essential.
Hypnopaedia works only during alpha waves activity (I.e. immediately before awakening). Nonetheless, this is a good method to review while relaxing before sleeping
Yes, but they want the money cower retention lol. Genuinely amazed by all the people who do this
いいえ
They just care about the views not our learning
Well, cool. Now I can say I actually do practice Japans fo seve houses per day. Thanks!
The amount you’ll actually learn while asleep is negligible

I expected this to cover more phrases, but I guess you wouldn't notice if you were asleep, anyway. I haven't checked out your vids for a while, so will check the channel for something that might be closer to what I'm looking for!
Thank you for give learning😊
I went to sleep, and now 小さな町に住むブラジル人のような気分です。
even though learning in your sleep isn't really possible, you remember things best when you learn them right before you fall asleep, so I'd still recommend using this :)
Its not learning its reprogramming the subconscious Mind.

You would not say sayanara as goodbye on a regular basis. you would only say it at like a funeral or some more serious time where you're leaving somebody forever. Instead you would say Jaane or matane.

あれようっうっえ
はい! (I'm learning Japanese rn so that might have not been the right word to use)
hai is the right word, though it's kind of like in English where you can say "yes", "understood", "You're right", "sure" or just nod or make an agreeing grunt. It really depends but I think saying "hai" you don't do anything wrong.
After watch snime for so many years, you do pick some of it up.

I listened to this overnight and I just woke up and I know Japanese fluently now 😮

Damn did you learn Hiragana and Katakana as well. I've been studying Japanese for about 18 months, its really not to hard to speak once you learn the sentence structure. Its hard to explain but its actually more intuitive than English in many sentences. But reading it goes too hard mode once you have to learn Kanji. The only language I can write perfectly understandable sentences, but some how might not be able to read the same sentence if you sprinkle in enough Kanji.
Cappp
I fell asleep listening to this and all the knowledge went into my brain I’m Japanese now 🗣️

Whether or not you can learn by sleeping, I expected a 7 hour video to include more vocab than just 25 phrases as basic as "hello" and "good morning", which you can memorise in less than a week of quick daily flashcard practice
I use this at work.
Arigato!
I'm not sure if you can learn this while sleeping, but it's possible to learn these phrases while being awake and listening to them over and over.
Learning in your sleep is disproven, however if you think about what you learned throughout the day before you go to sleep or while your trying to fall asleep, helps you remember what you learned much easy, trust me 🙏
are any of these informal or formal? I dont know if its natural or ok to use in every situation
I went to sleep with this and i woke up to a truck honking at me and a light.
Guys just to let u know, learn while sleeping is actually possible with this methods, obviously it doesn’t have the same effect as doing it when u’re awake, but it does works, obviously you can’t expect to have a proficiency level on anything just by doing this, but actually it can help you. Have a good night!
After a night listening to this, I woke up in Japan
how do u learn things wile sleeping dont understand
Your brain will learn on a subconscious level. So if you were to study as well while you’re conscious and work on the language when you’re sleeping on the subconscious level, it will make things much easier to learn. Our brains try to figure things out while we’re sleeping too, so you may be dreaming of people speaking the language while you sleep as well
Are all the phrases formal ?
No, only few of them were more formal such as "O-genki desu ka" whereas casual form would be more practical to be used when you hang out with friends and it's "genki desu?".
おはようございます
That's good idea for learning Japanese
actually,
if you learn 13 positive grammar and 13 negative grammar=only 26, you'll be able to speak japanese.
it needs 3days.
you can talk with japanese people forever.
many people who learning japanese learn adult words.
forexample, watashi wa nihon ni ikitai desu.
(i wanna go to japan)
but, you will naturally learn it later.
1stly, '' nihon ikitai'' you should learn this. it's enough.
next, negative ver.
nihon ikitakunai.
(i don't wanna go to japan)
already you learned 2/26.
japanese grammar is so simple than english at least.
so, you can get japanese grammar and you can use it quickly.
even if you are mistaken a little bit, if you watch japanese TV, you'll notice yourself and your japanese will be fixed naturally.
so, firstly grammar
nextly, watch something tv
3rdly, talk with japanese people.
→natural japanese speaker.
sorry. my english is too *hit.
because I'm japanese and I studied Eng for only 3days
I woke up and my face was covered with shushi

Tried it don't think it worked. I went to sleep while a 1 hour of silence video was playing with my big headphones on. Woke up to my headphones randomly placed neatly next to me.
